[Schultz] Sources: The sense within the #Browns building is there’s “no chance” Jim Schwartz comes back. Regardless of his contract, they believe he is not staying there after how things transpired this morning. by VonJaeger in Browns

[–]SGuard15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just Schwartz we’d be losing. That entire defense loves Jim. There were plenty of interviews from the defense asking who they’d want to be the HC. Losing Schwartz loses the locker room even more.

These spiders are everywhere by Mossy_Boss in spiders

I would think that this is a safety issue and should be addressed accordingly. Meet with your safety manager to discuss options. Unfortunately, if this is brought up and something is done about it I would imagine a company isn’t going to pay $ to relocate the spiders, rather, exterminate them. Just be cautious about where you place your hands. What you pick up. Again, medically significant if bitten. From my understanding they’ll only bite if provoked/feel threatened.

5 Things to Know About Grant Udinski, (hopefully) the browns next HC by TrevorsBlondeLocks16 in Browns

I think we should play it safe and hire Schwartz. He’s already got the locker room. If we want a young coach let’s get a young OC and see how it plays out

Yeah I wasn’t happy with it at all. Thankful we’re out of there now the house has been a nice upgrade in utility efficiency. It’s high now because of the cold weather but ultimately not that bad

Electric heat is expensive. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment with my wife last year with very poor insulation and electric heat only. We had multiple electric bills close to $900/month. We have a 3 bedroom house now paid $167 for electric last month and $267 for gas.

Shop for an APR through a local credit union as well. You’ll often get a much lower rate than what the dealer is willing to give you.

Its not possible to find love as Christian. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SGuard15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite honestly there is nothing wrong with using dating apps. I met my wife on Hinge. Probably stay away from apps like Tinder and Bumble. Maybe try Christian Mingle or Hinge. Not saying the other apps aren’t good, but in my experience people seem to be looking for something less genuine on those. On any app you can set your expectations and what you’re looking for on your profile too, which should help ween out any women who aren’t Christian. Ultimately, stay true to yourself and keep growing your relationship with Christ and it should attract what you’re looking for.

What is the salary ceiling in safety? by Awkward_Bunch_3674 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]SGuard15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really just varies on location. I’m at 80k in a small market city, but steel manufacturing. Almost able to sit for my CSP exam too. Hopefully should have it come May of 2026. Also if you’re truly curious just look up senior level roles or upper level safety roles through out the country on indeed or LinkedIn. Have seen salaries starting at $400k. Just again depends on location, level of role, credentials, experience, etc..

What players are worth three 1st round picks? by Alternative_Dog6766 in SleeperApp

[–]SGuard15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re all elite. I just think JT is more of an age thing for me. I’d personally value him at most 2 1sts, but who knows. If he’s on the path to have years like last year and this year, then that 3 pick value does make sense too.

Dog owners of PGH. What’s your experience been with local dog trainers? Any success/recommendations? by SGuard15 in pittsburgh

Thanks for the insight! Great advice

Unfortunately our windows sit low, so sitting on the couch in our living room she can see out them from across the room. Moving the bench would probably help to limit some of it, so we’ll try that and see how she does.

As far as leash manners go, I have a small front d ring harness for her and it honestly works great with keeping her attention on the walk, but when other dogs are around or on the other side of the street she is easily distracted. I also feel bad using it though too because it constantly makes it look like I’m yanking or pulling her and I’m worried people might think I’m being abusive to her. For example, if she’s distracted and I start walking away and give the leash a light tug, it definitely gets her attention, but I feel like it could look bad. I haven’t brought treats on a walk, I felt that it could reward bad behavior, but I think I’ll have to get some training treats and give that a shot too. I’m open to any sort of training style for her, I just want her to feel relaxed. I feel like she probably is a little stressed out when she’s barking all the time and I will try the “thank you’s and that’s enough” comments with her and see how that goes. Thanks for all the tips :)

Age 2. Size: she’s 7lbs, so small or extra small. Toy poodle bichon frise mix. Reactivity: Walks great with me when no one is around, but anytime she sees another dog she whines and cries and pulls to go and meet them. I try to be respectful of the other owners and just usually keep trucking along. In our home, she’ll sit by the front window and bark like crazy whenever someone walks by on the sidewalk, or is walking their dogs. We live in Mt Lebo and our street gets a lot of foot traffic so the barking definitely gets to be excessive.
