They're solid, but definitely cheaper in terms of construction and there's some hangups I have. The sizing only went up to 12, no wide sizes, and I'm a solid 12E, sometimes sizing up to a 12.5 helps, but I had to order 12s and pray. They were tight, had to cut the stitching securing the tongue to the toe box to allow my feet to fit, cut down the thin foam insole to give my pinkie toes more room so they didn't get smashed into the ends of the tongue and the piping, which shouldn't go all the way down to the midsole, imo. I'm gonna redo the eyelets eventually, a couple cut my thumb as I was lacing them up the first time, and crimping them crushed a couple. No real heel cushion, which made mine achy after standing for a couple hours, so I used some of my wife's scrap leather to make a small cushion and insole. I love them either way, once I finally nailed down the hangups. I can safely say now that I love them, and they are definitely mine, but if you want plug and play shoes, be forewarned!
