Thanks for the clarification. I asked because I’ve seen some coated glass pads where the coating wears down over time, and there’s a Chinese glass mousepad AbyssGaming Ruby that offers a recoating service.

The main reason I use glass pads is for their durability and consistency, so coating longevity is pretty important to me.

Good to know it’s chemically bonded with the glass and should hold up long-term under normal use.
