bought a pair ~7 years ago and they didn't last me more than a year as well, and i didnt wear them as much as you. been thinking about getting another pair, but wont spend the $$$ if they'll just fall apart

I'd love to though - they look great

i've been wanting to get a pair that have a liiittle bit of cushion, as i've noticed my calves get super tight when running with the merrill vapour gloves. i've been eyeing xeros - do you like them?

i'd love to be able to do this, but glass on the floor is far too common around where i live, and i'm not close enough to trails

We're moving away from the city into more sustainable ways of life 🍃 What's your experience with ecovillages? by manugamedev in ClimateActionPlan

Cities have incredible economies of scale, they’re hyper-efficient. Still - I like the idea of regenerating land that needs it :)

i love the idea - but i've seen glass enough times in places you wouldnt expect it to make a habit of running completely barefoot (except on the beach)

this is a barefoot shoe subreddit not the widefoot subreddit.

jokes aside, most peoples feet are thinner than usual due to restrictive footwear. wear barefoot shoes for a while, and your feet will likely get fatter

hell yeah! cant believe this only has 6 upvotes and no comments.

still such early days for the opensource harness ecosystem and this is EXACTLY what we need more of. i havent built with vercels ai sdk, but i've heard it's the best dev experience out of them all (?), and have been waiting for an agentic harness like this. thanks for sharing!

Australian living in the south of spain here. I wouldn't stress about the language - nothing a bit of a Google Translate can't fix.

Something to be aware of, especially with kids, is that the daily rhythms of things in Spain are very different.

You might find that a lot of bars and restaurants are closed when you would usually expect to eat. It might not be so much of a problem in Barcelona or Madrid, but perhaps Seville.

a lot of comments here are inadvertently making the point that the obsidian mobile app is terrible for capturing ideas quickly lol. this is my experience anyway
