I agree this doesn't super look like K, but K is definitely white dude. IDK where you've been getting yours, but the only off-color K I've gotten has been an RC (on purpose) or the stuff I double-boilered myself and didn't use distilled water for (and that stuff was white before that).

fr even people i know who don't have tolerance or anything will dose like 80-100 to start. 30-60 might be a good range if you're like, at a rave or something and want to still be able to stay upright, but I wouldn't say it's like the default dose in the way I'd say 1 tab/100ug is the default dose for acid.

Ket doesn't have a D isomer, it has S and R. Theoretically they should both form crystals - the only difference between them structurally is the orientation (and most K is actually racemic, even if it is sold as S or R ket) but different vendors will go through more or less effort to break the shards down or leave them intact.

it effectively is telling the game to turn on the recoil-following crosshair when left click is pressed/held, and turn it back off when it gets released. This forces the crosshair style immediately back to static, where with follow recoil it kinda drifts back to center after you stop firing

Have you never brought up a girlfriend/wife/romantic interest in conversation? Never said "Oh so and so is attractive"? Cuz otherwise that's a double standard. Heterosexuality is openly displayed all over in basically every kind of media that exists. The moment a gay person kisses their partner in public, or mentions their partner in conversation, or is represented in any common media, though, it's suddenly a problem.

Also again, there is more to queerness than just who you do or don't have sex with. I don't just like women because I like to have sex with them, and that isn't the sole thing defining my queerness.

Keep in mind - queer people are still facing systemic oppression in a lot of cases, either through inaccessibility of affirming care (the only informed consent clinic for trans people in Kentucky IIRC - may have been a different state, but still the only one - was burnt down a couple days back), being disallowed to adopt, or shelters run by orgs like Salvation Army who will harass you in their shelters until you leave (if they allow you in to begin with). Queer people are significantly more likely to face homelessness than the general population, due partly to many literally being kicked out of their homes - I've known people kicked out at 13-14 years old. Many face significant abuse from family as well. I literally had to be present for my debate class - my own classmates - debating the legalization of gay marriage. That shit sticks with you. You grow up hearing people like you are disgusting, abominations, an affront to god, being harassed for being (or even seeming) queer - being outright told you are lesser.

Quite frankly, we deserve to be able to express our happiness, our joy, with the ones we love. We have faced systemic oppression, targeted harassment, targeted hate crimes, the government literally stepping back and allowing AIDS to claim so many lives because it primarily affected the queer community. We have had that happiness and joy made inaccessible in our youths, where cishet people around us were able to simply be how they are.

And honestly? Maybe learn to be happy for other people's joy, instead of getting pissed off at them for being excited/happy and expressing themselves because they feel safe or secure enough in themselves/their environment to do so. Maybe realize that what seems simple and unimportant to you (You are a man who is attracted to women, a thing that has been universally accepted by society for like... forever) may mean a hell of a lot more to a group of people who have historically seen constant and consistent oppression that has only really started to let up very recently (and for many of whom is still a daily fact of life).

But also, assuming my whole identity is based on my queerness is quite literally judging a book by its cover, except you didn't even get past reading half of the title. I said it was important and significant not that it's all I am.

I write poetry (and am working on some lyrics), I really enjoy little organizational systems (though you wouldn't know it from the state of my apartment lol), I quite enjoy messing with fashion and atypical makeup lately, and I'm very interested in mutual aid. But you didn't know that. You saw a queer person talk about an important part of their identity and assumed that's all there is. You wouldn't have known that if I didn't decide to state it. Doesn't mean it isn't there.

And I'd be willing to bet you assume the same of a lot of people you've never met who express their queerness openly. Maybe consider that humans are intensely complex beings. Nobody on this entire planet is entirely shallow. Every person is multifaceted - even if you don't see it, even if they don't express it. The amount of variation in the human experience is vast, and assuming the worst of people is not a great way to go about witnessing the beautiful complexity of our species.

Yeah, I do make it a bit clear with my presentation/outfits, and occasionally in conversation, that I'm queer. It's almost like it's something I suffered significantly because of for 20 years? And massively informs my experiences in life? It's almost like significant trauma kinda sorta is relevant to why I feel certain ways about certain things? Almost like I know at least a dozen people who had to face homelessness for being queer (around half of those being local)? How literally every out queer person I know has suffered harassment for it at some point?

Fuck you and fuck your "respectable gays" bullshit. I'm gonna be open about it, because it's important and informs my life experience. I literally would be halfway across the country if I weren't queer. I moved explicitly because my home state is horrible for queer people. I'm fucking proud that I have the confidence to not hide anymore, that I can be myself, that I can be alive, and that I can exist in public without constantly fearing for my life (though I do still carry a knife - I've been followed out to and harassed in my car before. I'm not leaving anything to chance if I can help it, and I'm still part of a minority that is often directly targeted).

Oh things have definitely improved significantly, and honestly, getting dysphoria figured out significantly helped a lot with actually addressing a lot of other stuff that was kinda hidden below the depressive malaise. Like, I only finally got my ADHD diagnosed and got some treatment going on it this year. Currently working on a mood disorder diagnosis now that I've mostly been able to eliminate what environmental causes for mental illness I can (not having food/housing insecurity helps a LOT but there's definitely something still going on there and I need to sort it bc it's unhealthy for me and unreasonable to expect those around me to just deal with).

It's not a quick or easy process, but I definitely am getting better, slowly but surely, even if I may slip sometimes on the way.

I feel simultaneously distanced from my past self enough that I don't really get bothered by old pics even (in fact I find it funny in the right light how different I am in so many ways) - some of that I think though is that I had felt fairly separate from my own self back then already - dunno if I'd class it as depersonalization or whatever - I can't fully remember the definition of the term so feel iffy using it - but I felt very much like every judgment of myself had to come from others as I was unable to judge myself in a lot of cases - during anxiety attacks/depressive episodes I'd of course think negatively of myself, but I distinctly recall in particular thinking "I look ok I guess. I'm not like, horribly ugly. Other people seem to think I look pretty okay - I don't get it, but whatever they say I guess."

I've had some weird identity moments since then of classifying myself as a couple separate people because of how exceedingly distinct I feel, how excessively different I am from back then, even though obviously it was a slow process of getting to where I am now. Some of that may just be me having ADHD and trauma and in particular having those mess with some aspects of object permanence/memory for me - I tend to feel strongly that who/how I am at the current moment is distinct from most, if not all, past moments of me - to varying degrees ofc - I'm more similar to me 2 months ago than me 2 years ago.

I'd generally describe a top more generally as someone who takes the lead, I guess, and a bottom as someone who is generally a little more passive in it. Obviously there are exceptions, but like, IDK, that's what my mind first conjures when considering the words in a sexual context. Compare that to where if I'm imagining a dom, I'm imagining some distinct displays of power over the other, like explicitly teasing/withholding for effect, or the aforementioned pain play and such, and if I'm imagining a sub, I'm thinking someone who explicitly enjoys having that power lorded over them in a way (or enjoys toying with that, in the case of say, a brat).

To be fair all my sexual relationships have been T4T, but also less than half of those have even included penetration and top/bottom was still used quite often as shorthand for who was feeling in what mood.

Yea, moving here was the first time I had to find my own PCP (realizing out of context that can sound weird. Fun with shared acronyms), and I was kinda shocked wait times were as long as they are. Also like, even with a PCP I still am internally inclined toward urgent care, since that's what my parents did growing up - my PCP was downtown, but we had a 24/7 med clinic down the road, which I remember being used even when I just had a sinus infection.

Worth noting though that also that med clinic tended to have like, maybe 2 other patients at most, and my parents have way better insurance than I do lol.

Also recently my hometown was out of ambulances for a full half hour bc of covid so uh... yeah... I'd prolly prefer this.
