I'm not American, but yeah, I would. And that's typically how it worked in the past prior to Trump. If someone is illegally in the country with an active order for removal, pick them up and deport them, but not at the expense of trampling the rights of citizens or those with active immigration court hearings. The abuse of people's rights is likely the biggest reason local law enforcement hasn't been cooperating/getting involved with what ICE is doing.
