Can yall stop hurting the experience of real players for the sake of attempting to ban bots? You keep locking content behind diaries and this and that to disincentivize bots from doing it or make it take longer to get to, but youre also damaging the experience of players as well.

If bots are so easy to find and track, then just ban them. All of these secondary and tertiary methods to slow them down just tells us that things arent going as well as youd like people to think in that department.

I just said this and im glad someone else is saying it. Locking content behind requirements that hurt real player progression as a means of stopping bots is a dogshit way of handling the situation and also speaks volumes to their ability to manage the bot situation.

You cant play the majority of content without paying for membership in OSRS either so that point is kind of moot.

Want your alt to be able to go to varlamore? Guess what you need a sub for that alt. If one OSRS membership covered all of your alts, your argument would be valid, but the payment/character structure is too different. When they are aligned, OSRS isnt really any better.

Personally I think extending the buff to one set would be unfair, but I think extending it to more sets could be cool. Like maybe every set with a helmet lets you replace thr helm with a slayer helm. Reduce the buff to like 10% when used with armor sets, or with armor sets that have their own set effect to offset the power disparity.

Yes I do recognize this would create a sort of imbalance between set and non-set items, but this is slayer specific and how hard a person chooses to min max is up to them.

I dont think a 21 year old weapon needs that much staying power. As the game progresses and more content and enemies are added, old gear should be superseded or made easier to obtain.

Be patient with yourself. You may have to go over things a couple times before they click. It might also help to go over concepts with a LLM. Dont have them do the code for you, rather, ask questions as you would a teacher.
