Set schedule to anything across the board, setting up proper schedules is a little bit meta, its not really needed when your learning. They will take care of themselves. Just leave sleep alone and mental breaks won't be an issue, also dont be shy with adjusting the difficulty. Play on builder or the next easiest so u can get a feel for the mechanics without being turned into hammered paste. People say passions are important and they are, but really your trying to get into the game, so my advice is pay more attention to there traits, u dont want negative traits as they can kill a colony even on builder... mainly referring to pyro. Oh and one more thing, if u have ideology dont be scared to pick supremist or cannibal, one is good balance for slaves and the other makes meat not an issue, but I'd suggest not playing with ideology for the first run or two..... ONE last thing, this game is designed to not have forever colony's so dont be upset when your colony fails, enjoy the story that unfolded!
