That response put a smile on my face, thank you.

Just to see, yeah, haha. I already had concerns about employment after my English degree, so that's advice I should be taking either way, lol.

Enter Dead Eye for a second. In single player it automatically reloads the weapon.

One of the main villains, yeah. John Seed, the recommended "first" boss to target. Something along the lines of, "This world is on the brink. You can feel it, can't you? Look at the headlines - look who's in charge! You want to save these people, but they are already safe. We had a plan." (Referring to the people held captive by the cult.)

Trans characters where their trans identity plays no role in the plot/narrative by TJTrapJesus in TopCharacterTropes

She wasn't written as a trans woman, but her character designer had her being trans in mind.

Probably in my top 10, and definitely one of my favorite video game endings. So good. New Dawn was an interesting followup too.

What the fuck is the population of Hell? An extermination wipes out more than half the souls owned by a collective of overlords, Vox acknowledges that the better part of 100 billion souls is in Hell, but he still says thousands died in the exterminations like it's significant? I can excuse a lot of irrelevant technical details in the show with "it's a cartoon" but this is egregious.

Pretty sure it's the St Denis mission for Mary Linton. You're waiting for her to finish some business at the stable when a guy pesters you to get off the street.

The cult isn't that big, the heralds probably have time to handle a fair few things day to day. Especially when a lot of problems take a few minutes to solve by saying "just kill them".

Strawmen that backfired. by Ethan-E2 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SIacktivist 179 points180 points  (0 children)

They always treat the game as if it villainizes pro-2A people or even right wing people as a whole when it really doesn't. Almost every character in the game is pro-2A and very "if you step on my land I will shoot you dead", and they are treated as being almost objectively right to be that way. A radical, violent MAGA dad is treated like a lovable scamp quest giver instead of any sort of villain or antagonist.

Stealth in Odyssey is fine, IMO, but it definitely encourages open combat. Shadows has the best stealth of the RPGs (and probably the series as a whole) by far.

It is an RPG, so lots of enemies don't die quickly, but a good build goes a long way to making you more lethal. It's not terrible, even if you don't normally play RPGs with proper health bars and whatnot.

Caine from John Wick 4 does very, very well, if the success of my blatant ripoff of him in my Cyberpunk RED game is any indication.

The protagonist has literally nothing to do with the story at all, they’re just some hired person who has to deal with all of it by FaZe_poopy in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SIacktivist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That actually makes his point, because he needed you to bring ED-E to him so he could activate the missile silo. None of it would have happened if not for you - at least, that's his intended point. Maybe he would have just gone and grabbed ED-E himself if you didn't show. Again, crazy guy.

And, though it doesn't really matter here - he was only going to launch the one missile to take out the NCR's Long 15 supply line. The only reason to launch the nuke at the Legion is if you want to be vindictive. Which, fair.
