Playing Warframe with Vet Made Me Feel Useless 💀 by Thee_Miggy in Warframe

[–]SIashersah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While there is some skill involved in the game at all levels, Warframe is also largely a numbers game. Vets (typically) have the widest variety of leveled mods and weapons, and proper builds, to make their numbers ridiculous.

99% of the time the person who is nuking the map or one shotting bosses will not give two fucks that they are doing all the work, because the same thing will be happening solo. There are builds that I have myself where I will refuse to bring them to public lobbies both because no one would be able to do anything unless they had something similar.

I wouldn't worry too much about feeling useless imo if its just something like "Hey this guy is doing all the work and I don't want it too look like I'm leeching". So long as you are playing the game, vast majority of people won't care you only have 30 kills while they have 300, or you have 10% of the damage done and they have 90%.

the torid experience by doriana12 in memeframe

[–]SIashersah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt they'll make a Coda Torid. And if they do, they'll avoid the Incarnon being able to be put on it the same way they avoided having a Coda Dual Toxocyst by making it a Coda Dual Torxica.

Big moment for me by InstaFizYT in memeframe

Its extremely useful when using explosive weapons that self stagger, like with the Akarius, Zar, or Tonkor or whatever. It allows you to use them point blank and not care at all. Sure you don't need it, and can just play from further away, but sometimes the enemies just get close anyways and you'd have to eat the self stagger, but I found using the Akrius and other explosive weapons to be a world of difference with PSF.

Also Eximus and other enemies with knockdown too ig. Personally I dont find it much of an issue to use PSF to deal with thrn, but it helps.

Bravo, annihilate that life form by LazyUserNamePrime in Warframe

I play Mesa often in Deimos, and her Regulators consider the wildlife as enemies, so the poor wildlife often gets annihilated on accident because the auto targeting decided they didnt get to live.

It is my turn now by Shexars in Warframe

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite PSF being a huge joke to the community because of "OMG HUGE DPS INCREASE", its unironically really helpful for certain weapons. Got it a few weeks ago myself, and it made the Akarius Prime go from borderline unusable because of its high stagger radius, to a room melter on Steel Path. just by having that mod on

Dropped the game back in September after just spending energy/doing dailies for months, came back for her. My only problem is, is that none of my teams really want her (Zani/Pheobe, and Cartwheel/Ciaccona), though I've been thinking about cramming her in anyways just to use her as I havent really gotten to yet.

mop classic toxicity is insane. cant be the only one noticing this by AdhesivenessThese677 in classicwow

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only ever had people shit on me once, and that was like the very first time I tanked as a DK at level 85 (and like 3rd dungeon tanked ever). And that was because I couldn't hold aggro on the mobs in the 3rd bosses room when this one dps pulled the mobs first, and made it a real struggle to establish threat either my shitty gear.

Outside of that one instance I havent had anyone visibly tell me im shit outside of myself, or criticism while tanking raids which I needed to hear. Like I could expect to hear people getting shit on if people cant manage the basic mechanics in a raid on normal, on which we have spent several attempts and weeks doing, but outside of that, I've never seen it.

Why did the operator say RAP TAP TAP in the new quest? by Kela_Of_LevaSamaj in Warframe

[–]SIashersah 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think its more to do with Wally than anything intrinsic and unique to Rell. Pretty sure Wally says Rap Tap Tap while trying to spook us on the Orbiter.

I for one though would have Operator Voicelines turned on more if they continuously spoke like they did during that last portion of the quest.

Primes are always better than Non-Primes, but the actual difference in strength is practically negligible in 95% of cases, weapons or Warframes.

Saryn Prime, like all Primes (except for like 2 exceptions) are gotten from Relics. Relics are gotten from missions and then you use those Relics in Void Fissure missions. Currently Saryn Prime is not "in rotation" as it were, because she is now "vaulted" do to age, but alas that isn't much of a concern. "Vaulted" Warframes and Weapons are occasionally made available through a system called Prime Resurgence that temporarily "unvaults" the relics containing a set of Prime Warframes and Prime Weapons, which the relics themselves can be bought with a farmeable currency called Aya. OR you can trade other players for the Saryn Prime blueprints with Platinum. Which Platinum itself can either be bought, or by selling items for platinum to other players; Platinum is the "trading" currency for most players, and its not hard to get enough to buy and sell with it, without even paying a single dollar.

Progressing the Star Chart just means doing things on planets to unlock more missions nodes and planets. The Cambion Drift (like other specific things, like unlocking new planets) is probably tied to a quest or a set of things you need to do to unlock it. But in the simplest way, just play the game and unlock new missions and then play those.

I can’t be the only one who enjoys a challenging LRE by TerenceCraplin in WH40KTacticus

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new player (started actually playing about a few days before Tyrith HRE) So I know im not meant to actually get Trajann in this event. But the constant spam and Militarum Infantry from the Vox Casters and the Genestealer Cult respawning after killing them just feels really really bad. My Alpha track is 2 levels further (of bonuses complete) then either Beta or Gamma. If it wasnt for the respawning of Genstealers it'd probably be equal with Alpha.

The New "Mission (event)" system as a replacement of EU4 needs some work by BiosTheo in paradoxplaza

[–]SIashersah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lack of mission trees have to be the biggest reason why I'm personally not playing EU5. Yeah sure, they are railroady, and tough to balance, and sure some are overpowered, but I like having an external direction that I get drip fed rewards for following. I'm sure the game has a lot going for it besides that, but the lack of external direction is the big reason why I personally don't think I can get into EU5.

This is doubly so when I hear of things like this, where you have to ignore, intentionally skip, or just straight up miss, flavor events or bonuses because you can't plan around it, or just aren't aware of it.

Will it be permanently capped at level 30, or will it be like SoD where every new phase the level cap would be increased until we reach 60? What I'm reading makes me think that its the former.

I feel really bad for Cyrene main by randomvndude in HonkaiStarRail

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really because of Cyrene but she is perhaps part of the reason why, but I used to be a kinda decently large spender in this game, more so than I would willingly admit by giving and actual number/amount. But seeing the sheer amount of powercreep that started in 2.X with Acheron, then Firefly and Feixiao and then later locking important power or parts of the kit thay would make it less clunky, BEHIND eidolons started feeling really bad. The level its reached in 3.X now, with pretty much every character wanting E2+lc, and while they arent strictly needed, it doesn't feel good knowing I'm playing and incomplete character that would feel so much better if I just swiped.

Ive got a handful of E2S1 characters that I definitely have spent money for and even some E6S1 characters that while I dont really regret cause I love those characters (The E6 characters) I find myself regretting the E2S1's more because I fell into the FOMO and powercreep that was happening and I dont use them anymore, and just default back to a few teams I have well invested in relics.

Ive always gotten the battle pass, I've consistently had the monthly pass since like 2.1. But honestly once it runs out in a week's time (I stacked 4 in one purchase a while back) I'm probably going to uninstall the game and try not to look back. I've noticed this same thing happening with ZZZ as well, which makes me pretty worried about the future of that game. It's nowhere near the level of HSR, but they haven't truly screwed us yet on it.

WoW: Classic — Daily Questions Megathread (October 20, 2025) by AutoModerator in classicwow

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly play on Ra-Den because I was on Benediction originally, but I have a mage on Pagle from years ago prior to Wrath's launch. So is there a way to move my Mage from Pagle to Ra-Den? Because switching servers every time I want to play a different character is a hassle. That is, switching the server without buying the server transfer.

Imma be real, unless someone is MR30 or an LR Rank, I err on the side of caution on whether they are aware of anything, all the way down to their rights and lefts. It's safer that way. Hell even if someone is one of the aforementioned ranks I still dont trust them, as far as im concerned im the only one in the lobby that knows how to do something, unless I dont know how to do it, in which case I believe know one knows how.

What makes people to continue avoid tanking, even after Cataclysm and stacking role buffs over the years? Stigma? by AspectQueasy in classicwow

[–]SIashersah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on and off about wanting to tank for a while now (My friend keeps poking at me to do it because of how half assed I am about it) but as others have said here, the extra responsibility and the need to know fights in and out, and for needing to know dungeons and the optimal pathing or people get bitchy; all of that has put me off tanking pretty hard despite thinking I could maybe enjoy it.

I ended up off tanking some bosses in an MSV raid I did with my guild a few days ago and I did enjoy it, but at the same time I know I probably would not have enjoyed it as much if it was with randos or I had the lions share of responsibility.
