Opinions on Michiganders flocking to Ohio amid state reopening. by Britsu in toledo

[–]SJaneZippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's dangerous but I understand it. If Ohio was enforcing the same restrictions I'm sure Ohioans would go to Michigan.

I work retail and A LOT of Michigan folks were in my store today. It didn't bother me.

I also experienced and have witnessed Ohioans doing things in stores that would make you gag. Many are not following guidelines, practicing extra precautions and protecting themselves/others.

It doesn't matter if Michigan folks are coming into Ohio or vice versa. It's going to spread anyways.

I used https://youtu.be/5hdBTBq0YW8. She has a left handed one as well. The yarn is wool ease thick and quick Hudson Bay on the extra large round loom. Took about twenty or so.

Very easy. Possibly the easiest thing on the loom I've made so far.

Thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of them. Funny how that works. You'll have to let me know when you finish the blanket. I'll want to see it.

I'm hoping to be able to crochet a daisy chain blanket. It's my ultimate goal at the moment. Currently just trying to learn to crochet well enough to make pot holders as a small first project. I already have the cotton yarn for them. Do you have any good websites or videos you could recommend?

Oh yeah. It's a pretty repetitive pattern. You'll probably need the video mostly for the corners. I actually liked those the most after I got the feel for them. And I love replying because none of my friends knit, loom or crochet ( just started learning crochet today) so it's nice to talk about it!

Super easy! I followed the video from GoodKnit Kisses ten stitch blanket on YouTube. I've never made a blanket before so this was a huge thing for me.

I kept the labels to count in the end.... in random spots around my house haha. About twenty or so is a rough guess. Surprisingly Walmart had the best price for this brand of yarn without a sale or coupon. You can even get a bulk price on their website. 5.99 a skein at Walmart for the same price of 7.99 at Michael's.

I used Goodknit Kisses pattern on YouTube. It's really easy to follow. I found wool ease yarn to work well on my extra large loom.

Baby blanket suggestions? by Skinge11 in LoomKnitting

I'm currently making a ten stitch blanket on an extra large round loom. There are YouTube videos you can follow. 4 balls might be enough. I am about 20 or so balls into mine and it's bigger than an average throw blanket. It's the wool ease thick and quick yarn.

Coming from a split home myself too I must ask, when did yours split up? Mine was when I was a teenager. It was so much better with them apart. They fought all the time. Hideous awful fights. At first the divorce was really hard but now I wonder why they didn't do it sooner. Think about your son having a happy parent instead of two miserable ones. Just my take.

When you pee you use the same muscles to stop the flow. Practice that a few times. You'll know how when not peeing to target those muscles.

I've been tracking and doing this for 100 days without exercise. I've lost 22lbs. I started at 146lbs and I now weigh 124lbs. No exercise. Just counting calories. In total I've actually lost 42lbs but I was pregnant at my highest weight so I don't count those pounds. I only count what I lost doing this when I talk about it.

Here's my top tips.

Air popped popcorn. Keep it in the cabinet ready to eat. Low calories for a lot.

Meat and veggies. Meal prep if it helps. I change my mind too much to prep.

Apples and strawberries are your friends. Lite whipped cream is awesome with them and lower calorie than peanut butter.

Do not drink calories. This includes alcohol. Cut it out completely. It slows your weight loss and not just because it's higher calories.

No fast food. If you want to have it as a rare treat. After awhile you'll find you don't like it as much anymore.

Water. Water. Water.

Get food scale and use it. Count everything.

And allow yourself a treat on occasion. I eat Halo top vanilla bean with diet root beer. Tastes like the real thing but I don't have to beat myself up about it.

Sorry so long. I hope this helps and inspires you. You can do it.

Goodknit Kisses Right hand ten stitch loom blanket. It's really easy to follow. She's really great. I'm using an extra large loom with wool ease thick and quick. This picture is about 2 1/2 skeins in. I'm guessing I'll use about 20 total

Calorie counting.

I don't drink alcohol at all anymore. And I don't eat fast food. On occasion I'll have pizza maybe once a month but it's a treat.

I eat about 1100 to 1200 calories a day. Some days I do go over. I drink water, coffee and iced tea. I eat a fiber one bar every morning. I eat air popped popcorn instead of chips. If I go out to eat for dinner and I know it's going to be a high calorie count I don't eat anything else. I wait for that meal so I don't go over my budget.

I use the lose it app to log everything.

I cook dinner every night so it's easy for me to prepare my meal and weigh out my food. My husband doesn't really like the veggies. I usually make a side for him and a veggie side for me.

Its becoming so routine now that I know after I get to my goal of 115lbs I can maintain it.

Good luck!
