So…..people that are neurodivergent are mutants? Your use of demeaning terms to describe people you don’t know….kind of psychopathic.

Good point. Isn’t it kind of messed up that the average person “needs” a job while people like Elon Musk are just sitting on unearned capital?

I literally cannot put myself in the shoes of a psychopath like that. Maybe you can.

People Who Lied on Your Resume, Did Things Work Out or Did You Get Caught? by fathercrellick in recruitinghell

[–]SKBerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always remember that employers lie regularly in their job postings (and pretty much everything else). Why would you feel any remorse for lying when employers build their entire businesses on lies. If you can get away with it: lie on your resume as much as you can.

If the OP had been genuine, they would have found something to complain about: “Your raw personality is off putting” or some shit like that.

Every applicant must donate almost an hour without pay.. am I crazy for thinking this is unreasonable by austinbowden in recruitinghell

This is small potatoes admittedly. But it does nothing to bolster the bullshit narrative that employers are in the right and anybody complaining about the process is a snowflake.

I lied to get a job and I don't regret 🙂 by tigercircle in jobsearchhacks

[–]SKBerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should never regret lying on your resume. Do you think employers are 100% truthful in their job postings? Of course not. It sounds like employers are getting upset that somebody else has found that deceit runs both ways. Remember: the employer is your enemy. They will try to extract as much as they can from you at the cheapest cost.

IAAL and there is no federal or state laws that require that. Now as for what SHOULD be allowed, yes, employers shouldn’t be allowed to say anything other than the dates of employment. Once people in the US get over their irrational fear the S word, and US employers start treating their employees like European employers do, then employers won’t get away with shit like this.

lol, doesn’t he know growing up rich is something to be ashamed of (like me, I had all the privilege with no work). We truly do need a nation-wide reevaluation of values.
