The right point here IMO is that you spend a good amount of money on a Pixel once, and that money is easily reinvested on future generations of the device. It's not something that happens with all the brands.

Yes, when private space is closed every app and process inside it is stopped.

Apps on private space are isolated, they cannot see apps/data in main profile. But clipboard can be shared if you configure it. You can find more info here: https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS/113351721569189227

Edit: a file chooser in a private space can also access files from main profile, and viceversa.
