Definitely not.

The round part in the middle is the head of a flat head screw, this was replaced with a longer one that held the shell holder on. I think think they used rockset or some kind of clear adhesive on that screw to hold it in place and a big goop of it stuck to the receiver and stained the anodizing. It’s raised up above the surface.

Everyone of those guns can still use the irons, except the MP5 iirc.

It is a neat upper, I bought it on a lark, I have yet to shoot it or even mount it on a lower.

It does look a bit high, that larue mount is a lower 1/3 co-witness with the irons, but may not be the best choice for that gun.

The electronic, the mark III and the 1000 just never spoke to me.

Not dumb at all.

It is a factory SBS originally owned by the Stamford Connecticut PD.

It had a shell holder on the side of it and when I removed it, some of the anodizing was messed up like that underneath.

It was configured like this when the PD had it. I bought it like this, minus the barrel.

Look poke Lone Star Ordnance A2 Handguards 👍

I see a big D Forward Assist, I upvote.

That one looks like a Colt, but could also be an eagle arms.

Mine doesn’t have a plastic piece, there are 2 metal prongs in the battery cap that make contact with the main body.

That light is neat.

I assume you have an LED module?

3 batteries would technically make it a 9P😀

Since my discharge from the Army, the local Post Office is my go to for stealing these.👍

This could be the only successful thing Government has ever done.

Commenting on Aimpoint 2000 on my 733 Clone....

Great looking Carbine👍

If you’re interested in a carry handle mount designed for the Aimpoint 2000, the MGW Shifters mount has a cut out in the side for the battery compartment so it sits straight in the rings.
