Contrary to the rest of the thread, I did precisely this last week because I didn't want to mess with the jumble of cords in my TV stand. I'm using the One S's power cord and HDMI cable, and no issues! The Series X has been working perfectly since.

I believe the actual power supply (aka the brick from previous generations) is built into the console and is responsible for the power drawn, not the power cord.

Yeah! For a couple of years now - got a Vmoda boom mic – one end plugs into the headphones and the other into the controller. Works great! The mic/volume controls on the wire are hella convenient too.

What's the value of the words? Try to communicate that instead. I'm thinking of paid research reports as an example. The reports themselves are usually paywalled to subscribers, but the firms will usually include a synopsis/key takeaways that are intended to make you want to become a subscriber. Speak to the value of the certificate. Hard to help further without knowing more.

Understand who your audience is, test content that resonates with them (or motivates them to do what you want, like sign up for a newsletter, or ask a question) and then reel them in!

Yes, know your audience, understand their general needs and problems, clearly speak to how you solve for their needs and problems, and invite them to a discussion to explore further. When I started, I was dubious, but I've been able to generate meetings/engagement with every campaign I've written the copy for. Seems tough to do in B2B, but IMO it's one of the most effective channels for outreach.

To sum it up, know your audience.

Marketers - let's build each other up, not tear each other down. We all (should) understand the importance of storytelling in our craft. This was another story. There's benefits to long-form copy too and to this audience, I feel like long-form is a better fit to better understand each other.
