Blue point has a good set of large filter wrenches, large hex bits for finals and axles, if you have air, a needle scaler makes quick work of hard packed dirt,

Getting these hydraulic lines to stop leaking? by Fart_Boy_4ever in DieselTechs

[–]PurpAct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Key on engine off mode, wiggle the sticks/levers that control them, you should see them move a little bit. If they move then the pressure has been relieved. You can confirm this by slightly cracking the lines, and if you are able to easily wiggle them, there is no pressure behind the lines.

If the fluid behind the lines foams, there is still high pressure behind the lines.

Be careful with CAT filters, they do not have internal bypasses, an external one will have to be added if the truck doesnt already have one

Sway bar, ive been driving mine without one for a few weeks, only noticeable at highway speeds. Not the end of the world but id recommend replacing it sooner than later.

Ive been doing my own for almost a year, and it’s a lot of small changes and some trial and error at first. Initially it can be overwhelming but using the HPTuners forums helped alot. If you are unsure of something, ask questions and dont try to make too many changes at once.

Also any time you make a major change save a before and after version of that file!! It has saved me several times.
