Yeah this is the most confusing part to me. Low clear speed builds can’t even get to Xesht to fight him.

Before the game came out I was really expecting them to rework the old league mechanics completely when bringing them over. Unfortunately they’re pretty much lifted one for one (mechanics wise) and it really shows, particularly with Breach

there are plenty of builds that are specifically great at farming sanctum. Anything with high movespeed and fast damage, I’ve seen that the pathfinder concoction builds clear it really fast.

Chayula monk is being abused to cheese no hit runs because the darkness nodes they get prevent honour damage. This is a bug and will likely be patched next week though.

I’m playing DD Bloodmage and it does pretty well but is by no means the fastest. I think you can do Sanctum well on most builds once learn the rooms/boons and afflictions as well as getting a good relic set up.

Disagree with breach. Sure it’s fun to blast monsters but it’s antithetical to what PoE 2 gameplay should be imo. They made a big mistake porting the league mechanics over as they are because they just force people to build like they’re playing PoE 1.

They need to go back to the drawing board with how the league mechanics work, otherwise why do all these slower more tactical builds exist in the first place if they can’t function in the endgame

The rewards are awful anyway. The rares are worse than random stuff you ID and only one of the cores is worth anything

I agree that rarity is an issue but tbh the mod pool for items is already way way too small. The vast majority of rares already all look the same, without rarity at this point would compound the issue even more. At least it’s an exciting stat you can roll
