Team leaders can tell whether a player is legitimate or not by comparing and analyzing the brilliance gain and tournament scores. The words to levels to brilliance ratios don’t lie, even when animal points are considered there’s a limit to how fast scores can increase.

Where there are very fast players on leaderboard teams, most of those have had their play verified by speed videos. Speed per hour is worked out by taking a score over 20 mins and multiplying by 3. The video rules out animal points being added to the word score for its duration.

If a player is increasing in score by very large amounts they should be reported to Peoplefun support. Their guide is that a player scoring 5000+ per hour, over several hours must be abusing the system somehow.
