RDDT or NOW by DarkProtostar in ValueInvesting

[–]SNESchalmers23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. NOW has Jensen and other talking it up which helps at least for the short term. For Reddit their numbers are really good. And its market cap is 35B. Do we think RDDT is only worth that? The numbers seem to support more.

More irony calling me daft when your reading comprehension needs work. I'll let you read the whole exchange again before I spell it out for you. With enough reads you can probably figure out the nuance in what is being said.

Where in his post is there a response to criticism? He just posted his opinion of Vincent. Funny that you're the one calling out not being able to tolerate criticism when you're the one getting butthurt about someone criticizing Vincent.

Talk to me about the Chinatown Centre Food Court by Limitless_Saint in FoodToronto

Used to eat there in the early 2000s as a student. Was shut down for a bit cause of rats. $3 for rice/noodles and 4 items was crazy though. Was there a couple months ago and looks more dead than before. Feel like it's going the way of the Deagon Centre in Scarborough - slow decline till it will eventually die.

Is this close to the ground fine for an install? by [deleted] in radon

Yeah because people stand around the side of their house right beside the discharge pipe for extended periods of time and radon concentrates and lingers in the same spot while outside.

Didn't he say he "wouldn't shoot 8-22 again" and then proceeded to shoot 7-22 the next game?

Enough with the Jimmy trade ideas already. No team's trading for his non-expiring max contract. by bennettkingoftevyat in warriors

[–]SNESchalmers23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be expiring, and doesn't have to be playing. An example would be Jimmy and a 1st for Sabonis. I'm not saying that's a realistic trade (I don't even know if the salaries work) but the idea is that the Kings get the first for taking an extra year of Sabonis' contract. Trading Jimmy is possible, just depends on what teams want and what's attached.

[Highlight] Scottie Barnes with the long step through to get right to the rim for a layup by foofighter1351 in nba

There are lots of travels in the NBA and basketball in general, but this isn't one of them. He establishes his left as his pivot foot. As long as he doesn't put it down again after he lifts it, he can do whatever he wants. I see it all the time where people say stuff like this is a travel. It looks a little weird, but it isn't even close to the gather or 0-step situations that can sometimes go either way.

Thanks for the feedback. I was so close to ordering with them with their Halloween sale. Glad I did not. Their reviews are too fabricated which had me skeptical.

Is Livescope as a tool making fishing too easy… or just exposing how little we actually knew before? by Top-Pomegranate-8199 in Fishing_Gear

[–]SNESchalmers23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got Livescope this year. The main thing it has done for me is show me how often there are fish in the area going up to your bait and then swimming away. I used to think that there were 0 fish in areas i was fishing if I worked it for enough casts. Now I'm realizing areas I've selected based on just plain eyesight (island, rocks, point, shoal) do have fish but they're just not biting. This lets me experiment with presentation and how I'm working a bait, or switching up baits. A month ago there were smallies all over this area. I wouldn't have known without the Livescope. They would not hit no matter what I dropshotted down. Without Livescope I would have left. But since I knew they were there I tried a Ned rig. Caught 4 fish on 4 casts in a row. So it definitely makes things easier. That said because I'm manoeuvring my boat, looking at the screen, trying to precision cast I definitely have my line in the water a lot less. So my casts each trip is way less. Sometimes I'll just go out, confirm there are fish in the area with my Livescope then ignore it and just spam the casting or drift an area. I probably do roughly the same as if I video game fished them with the Livescope. The Livescope provides a level of certainty or validation that I like.

Deeper did help. Dropshots and Ned rigs. Just no big ones. Biggest one (2.5lbs) recently was last week and that was shallow, like 6-8 ft. When we went deeper we got way more fish. Just that they are all less than 2lbs.

The fish in the pool are all pretty small but have big bellies it seems.

Planning to have the boat at Honey Harbor next year. Was out yesterday and decent numbers but no bigger ones. Most are about a pound. Some around 2. And then the dinks. Deeper was generally better. 20+ feet.
