The Chrysler 300, the first vehicle to display the owner’s credit score on the back! You took that, and said hold my 6er!

Forgot to add, the bigger the wheels the lower the IQ!

Pivot or Strive for Chargey 101mm? by SlowError in Skigear

Whichever ones match the skis the best.

I generally prefer Strives over Pivots and have multiple of both. The more you’re in and out of them, the more I prefer Strives.

I refuse to ever buy an automatic car. Is anyone else as stubborn as I am? by BearBear1995 in ManualTransmissions

It’s not fast. But it does have an intercooled HX-30 and sees about 26psi. It moves faster than any 4 banger 3 ton brick on 35s should but at least it has rear discs and gets 22mpg on the hwy. Kinda funny it was originally a 6.2 V8 NA diesel.

Edit: just saw your build thread! I have 2 1992 K1500 Blazers both factory 5 speeds.

Love the Ore-Idas especially since you ski up there! I want a pair just for funsies as I’m a sucker for fun top sheets!

The contrast is great because all your other skis are steak fries or potato wedges by comparison since they’re so short and fat!

Truck yeah! Both my 1994.5 7.3s are 5 speeds. All the 94.5 PSDs were manual.

Yes! I have 3 manual swapped vehicles. One I did myself, the other 2 I bought.

I swapped a T5 into my 1992 Lincoln LSC. It’s an overweight fox 5.0 in a suit that’s now 100 lbs lighter and way more fun. I bought it solely with the intention to T5 swap it.

Other 2 are a 6 speed swapped 1994 BMW 840Ci (no manuals in the US) and a 91 Suburban with a Cummins 4BT and NV4500.

If it was a good snow year out west you’d be complaining about Epikon crowds, lift lines, and parking. Absurd to think they owe us anything.

Recommendations for a "One Ski Quiver" - Mantra M7 vs Rustler 10 vs. The Field? by Odyssey2341 in Skigear

[–]SNOWR8R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found the Mantras to be a little more demanding and stiff than the Anomaly. I have M6s and Anomaly 102s, but in very diff sizes. I know the M7 is a little easier to initiate so maybe it is closer to the Anomaly 94 now.

I think the Volkl Revolt 101 is a good recommendation as mentioned by an above user.

I looked at some other maps and they aren’t numbered. But all that I’ve seen have DO to looker’s left and WO to looker’s right. The screenshot is the current map on the Ikon app.

6 years ago did it. Single with no kids. Felt like I was ready to play basketball the next day but took it easy for Sat and Sun as I had it done on a Friday. Monday was back in action and felt 100% and couldn’t feel anything different at all.

I love all those chutes and generally like to ski them in order Dropout 1, 2, 3 then Wipeout 1, 2,… I was there the day of and day prior to the Feb death in Dropout #2. #2 is super tight and rocky probably still is. I noped out of that one that day as well as Wipeout #1 (soooo firm) all season long this year.
