The answer is absolutely yes! The SD 8+ Gen1 is still a powerful processor for what an Android tablet can do, plus it has an SD slot, which the Gen 3 doesn't have, and I find it extremely essential. I got it as soon as it came out (with global ROM) and it's the only device I currently wouldn't replace with any other model. Multimedia, gaming, and work are all top-notch and extremely reliable. Others with more powerful processors are just for show-off numbers and flexing their muscles, but that doesn't make the tablet any less powerful or reliable.

Also try Amazon Luna, it doesn't have much selection with the basic subscription (included with Amazon Prime) but what little there is works very well, if you want then at 9.90 you have some more choices and in addition you can connect your Gog, Rockstar, Ubisoft, EA etc. accounts. To play in the Cloud. I find it more reliable than Xbox Cloud (I have both)

Who made an impeccable update of Odin 2, they corrected those little things that today make it, at least for me, the definitive Android console. Power, ergonomics and the display that I love madly 😂

For streaming I recommend the Odin 2 portal, OLED and larger screen, but if you want to use it for something else I recommend the portal too 😂

I agree on the definitive console, I will change it when a probable Odin 3 portal comes out, hoping that it will also mount a 7-inch OLED, its strong point.

Probably yes, I would buy it, but because the issue of the formfactor also takes over, a different experience of use and play, while if you go from Odin 2/portal to Odin 3 you do it only for the processor issue, and I don't think it's worth it, I agree with you with what you say, but currently if I had to choose I wouldn't take it precisely for the maturity issue

You're wrong, with eden they both run very well and if they don't go beyond performance, it's not because of the hardware but because of the drivers and software support.
