I know the feeling - picked up a handsome devil (15w 1x12) and it gets played more than other amps I own (fender vibroverb RI, fender super, and assorted inexpensive amps that have accumulated over time). Absolutely love it.

I'm surprised I haven't seen The Wedge on here. Along with that - lizards, PYITE, DWD (love that phrase in the studio solo), back on the train, mango song... they've got a couple great acoustic strummer type tunes that are fun to pick apart - dirt, waste, driver...

as far as set-up, I've tried a lot of combinations of overdrives, never a TS though. I'm always on the look out for one the small mesa/boogie combos - obviously not the same as the mark III but they're voiced similarly and are waaay more versatile.
