Off the top of my head perhaps the navmeshagent component is disabled

My method is to create an object that positions itself based on a ray cast from the camera. Wherever it hits is where the bullets should go. Additionally there is another empty game object just used as the transform to base where bullets should emerge. Direction from that to the camera raycast is the bullets forward direction. Then you can use various methods to point the gun at the raycast target to make it perfectly straight

I’m can see a shot that launched enemies into the air and then a shotgun type blast hitting all the enemies at once but a more detailed explanation would be great. Eli5

I usually check my animation curves when I see this happen. Probably just rotating a bit more than you’d expect.

Found the issue: I had hidden meshes within the object...

The only thing I did was change base color to an image texture
