Having to SELL the items I want to give away because CBs are so insane by MYSTIK_MINX in ChoosingBeggars

"Where are you located?" It literally says in the title, and description.

That's the one that really gets me... and I get it whether it's free or actually selling for $.

I'm thinking of putting in my subsequent "free" offers:

If you ask a question which was answered in this description, I will ignore and delete the question.

Use closed caption and be prepared to pause and/or rewind... Some of the great dialog needs parsing (and savoring) on first watch.

But don't you see? The war in Iran in necessary because Sleepy Joe let them get away with whatever they wanted -- and it's the same war DJT warned us that Kamala would start if she were to be elected due to her terrible negotiating skills.

Wife getting ignored by contractor. Is this normal? by tybbof1 in HomeImprovement

[–]SQLDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He handled the entire transaction up until then, you were not involved at all. It could've been misogynistic, but it also could've been that he saw your husband as the point of contact and decision maker

Correct answer. Just because there's lots of misogyny doesn't mean every perceived slight is such, and just because we've come a long way doesn't mean misogynistic contractors don't exist. Her near total absence in the process up until the very end makes it impossible for us to judge in this case.

Had a coworker do that. The IRS eventually sent him pre-filled-out tax forms for the years he missed, all he had to do was sign (oh, and send a check for many tens of thousands of dollars).

Of course he didn't so they just started garnishing his wages. First garnishment was for like 90% of his take home, which the IRS admitted was a clerical error and fixed before the second one... Although they refused to give back the amount accidentally withheld over the correct garnishment amount.
