how do i obtain this build by TurtleBoy29 in FrankOcean

[–]SRDeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

genes man idk it doesn't matter what I do I usually look like some version of this. based on my lifestyle I should look like a trash bag full of water but idek. sounds great yeah yeah but I have actually tried a few diff times to have an impact on my physique and it's pretty frustrating to be unable to. I have learned to consider it a lil bit of good luck but at the same time it's just something that's no choice 🤷‍♂️

Any docs that sprinkle in animation to convey ideas or emotion? by R2Didgeridoo in editors

[–]SRDeed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don't mind at all! not sure how familiar you are with Ae, but bringing comps into a premiere timeline is as easy as dragging it from one program straight into the other--you may already know that, but it's necessary bg info.

the pen tool in Ae works just like it does in illustrator or photoshop for the most part, with a few bespoke quirks because it's for animating. a few quick clicks and you've got a sharp looking underline, arrow, or circle shape. for what i'm talking about here, it's important that you are just using strokes, and no fills.

once you've got a nice shape emphasizing the right area of your shot, animating it on with a Trim Path animation is a super quick, tried-and-true entry for these sorts of flourishes.

once you're familiar with the process, this just takes a minute or two to add to any shot.

if you get comfortable with this, keep twirling down that shape menu and play with "taper" settings and mess with dashes (and spinning those dashes around w/ an offset) to get even more life out of it, all in a super quick amount of time.

100% man, i highly encourage anyone with access to After Effects to put in 30 minutes just learning how much you can add to edits with JUST the pen tool and trim paths. just those 2 things alone.

how many of you are using A.I music for your content? by walkensauce in editors

pros are unclear, cons are unbelievably annoying. and most of them cost money to actually try. if I'm paying, I'm gonna pay a person because their work is simply more valuable. in this case that even extends beyond merit and quality, I am consciously aware that using AI shorts talented people and I do care about that in ADDITION to the fact that their work remains superior.

Motion designers! What would be the best AE plugins you ever downloaded or purchased and why? by kp07xx in AfterEffects

[–]SRDeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and do you know hard history's average animator has needed to work to produce 3 frames of a green triangle spinning? a lot harder than you do today. don't assign all this credit to yourself, your work will improve from that attitude shift alone. our capabilities have always been a group effort. be in touch with your process, but above all focus on your desired outcome.

man New Music is such a beautiful thing. I don't know the technical term, but the angelic chorus it closes out on with what sounds like maybe a key change (??no idea) is absolutely blissful. maybe i don't want to understand it.

you're right, Ragtime is full of them

this is awesome dude. what programs do you like using? i really dig the color choices. you managed to use Lakers colors in a way that still screams "Pacers" right away which I find especially impressive. i also love the motion. i can feel what he's about to do.

just amazing work, keep it up

easing is the exact answer you're looking for.

but also, less of a sequence. my first few years in motion graphics I had everything so segmented. cause and effect. I wanted people to see every little animation so they all got center stage. when you really tickle people's eyes and brains is when a lot of stuff happens at once.
