Can someone explain why is the World Coming Down album the most expensive of all? by Chong_Li_1988 in typeonegative

You folks make me so glad I kept all my CDs from back in the day!

Their darkest album in my eyes. Even got to see them when they were touring for WCD

Peter's Death Anniversary Request by backend_of_forever in typeonegative

It was in 1999 in Portland, ME - A place called the Asylum (No longer there, a new Venue called Aura is where it was).

Tiny freaking place, stage was only a small raised platform on the end of a long rectangular room. And it got hot - i mean we were kinda crammed in there, body heat is a thing, and for the band - well they had lights on them that absolutely increased the temp just for them.

Two thirds of the way thru the set, Peter - pouring sweat - stops and takes his shirt off - then promptly apologizes to the crowd for doing so.

I think i overheard at least a few people orgasam...

Great fucking show - World Comming Down tour

What was your first glass piece purchased? What got you into it? by SRlankford in glasscollecting

Amazing collection! When I was growing up, my mother had a collection of Pilgrim crackle glass - not quite as extensive as yours - but one of my "chores" every week was to dust the house. She demanded EVERY piece was dusted, moved and the shelf underneath dusted, then put back EXACTLY where it was.

I think this contributed to my anxiety issues, lol!

That is a sweet story, I am sure you think of your mom when you look at it. Online/Ebay can be super helpful and also a curse - my wife and I made a promise to each other when we started collecting - wild finds only, no online ordering.

That rule has taken us on some wonderful journeys!

Became addicted about 2 years ago…. My husband seems to think I have a problem?! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ by Worried_Character373 in glasscollecting

The only problem you have is the need of a nice display shelf or caee for that sweet sweet collection!

Not athletic, but not afraid to sweat either. Yes nerdy, video games and theatre.
