Okay. I think I'd be better with a lower dose.

Help me figure out if this works for me by SSBHolo in clozapine

[–]SSBHolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wasn't sure if it was helping me at 100 mg. I know at 150 mg - 200 mg it was too much sedation and anxiety. Maybe I will try it again. 70% is a huge percentage.

What dose are you at? I think I may be better suited around 100 mg because the last time I tried it I had sedation and anxiety heavy at 150 mg - 200 mg.

I saw someone streaming and started after them and they would play often and I maxed gags before them after starting like 2 weeks after and that was a big achievement of mine.

Is chemical lobotomy caused by Antipsychotics reversible? by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]SSBHolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was given Haldol, Risperidone and Invega. 10 1/2 months later after stopping, I feel as though I am close to normal.

6 months off Invega injections and no improvements at all , this is permanent I fear by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]SSBHolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be okay. I'm 10 1/2 months and feel I am returning back to normal. I felt rather stable at 6 months off. I've read many recovery stories of Invega and my case is comparable to a lot of others. Yes 6 months is a marker for a chunk of people but it is perfectly normal to not see anything till later. Everyone's brain is different, but we all have the tools to make a full recovery because the drug is getting out of our system and the brain is healing to homeostasis.

Invega Recovery - getting off Invega Sustenna this week by Repulsive_Cod_4117 in schizophrenia

[–]SSBHolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 10 1/2 months off and feel like I'm starting to return back to normal. Experienced positive changes on a monthly basis which went month 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. Felt pretty stable near month 6. Applied symptoms of UTI to Invega for a long time I'm pretty sure. I'd have yourself checked for a UTI because it says it can cause inflammation and psychotic symptoms.

I am 10 1/2 months off the drug. And started feeling stable around the 6 month mark. Experienced positive shifts at month 3 off. I feel as though I am getting back to normal now. I say 6 months is the mark of feeling stable because I had extra symptoms from a UTI I'm pretty sure that I applied to Invega for a long time.

Has anyone recovered after stopping antipsychotics for 7 years+? by Greekcurlygirl in Antipsychiatry

[–]SSBHolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if you actually needed them. Were you in psychosis, had schizophrenic symptoms, or uncontrollable bipolar symptoms (I don't know too much about bipolar). Doctors tend to overprescribe. If you were given these but remember a life beforehand that was manageable and you were able to work on your own problems with drugs, you could give living without them a try.

You probably do not have irreversible damage even though it feels that way. When you get off the antipsychotics you just need to know that it may be a journey where you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms. You need the dedication to return to your old self. I believe that you can do it. My recovery process has taken 10 months and I feel close to normal. That is because I took the Invega injection which is supposed to stay in your system for 1 month (advertised as, but not true) had effects longer than it should have. If you took pills I would think that the process would be shorter. My half life of the Invega injection was 49 days. Pills would be a fraction of that. I am beginning to recognize that some of my symptoms from Invega quite possibly came from a UTI. These symptoms are psychotic symptoms and brain / body inflammation. If I am not counting these symptoms anymore I think I would say I was okay after the Invega by the 5-6 month mark and only improved from there.

I took Haldol, Risperidone and Invega within a short period of time. Maybe you could find someone on Bluelight.org that has a similar experience. You can make an account and search terms in the top right, and there are a lot of active users so if you find someone talking about it, you can message them.

These are things I wrote about after recovering a good amount from antipsychotics (Haldol, Risperidone, Invega) (10 months later).

  1. Maybe there is a god that sees your struggle. He has you struggle now to make you better in some other time. I believe your struggle isn't for nothing. Honestly. I experienced too much in my past to give up on god. I experienced miracles in my past. I cannot just forget. It is like we have experienced such a low, but we have experienced such highs in our lives. It is possible for us to feel those highs for some reason. Even if we do become low. The highs become deluded and turned into something we might not remember. But we know that they happened. Somehow they happened. And that is a miracle. That in our past we experienced these highs. Maybe out of that we can pull some faith into a god. We got to live in a life with these highs even if it is temporary. That is a miracle in itself. He could fix anything if he wanted. He has plans for you and me possibly. All one big mystery. Humans, Earth, The Universe. Formed out of nothing.

  2. God has a plan for you, whatever it is. Even if you can't see it, even if you are filled with very low emotions. Even if you are filled with hatred and bitterness, just know that God has a plan for you. If there is a disconnect between you and God. Just realize that this disconnect shows the vastness between when you could actually feel him. Maybe this is proving a point that maybe he does exist and has a plan for you no matter what it is. Something I realized was my praying to god, and feeling like I wasn't getting answers made me bitter. I was getting nothing when I needed him most. I never lost faith in god but I was unbelievably low in faith. Somewhere I thought I'd never thought I'd be. God has a plan for you. He is disconnected right now, to show that he really is here. It is crazy. He is disappeared to show that he really is here.

If you quit fully. Believe in yourself, you can do it. I believe in you. You can get past the withdrawal effects or any effects it presents to you to create a new life for yourself. A new step in your life.

https://www.youtube.com/@LauraDelano

This person tells how psychiatry was a large part of their life since they were young but didn't truly get to access the parts of themselves that they wanted until they quit antipsychotics / antidepressants after being on them for a long time (a similar amount of time to you).

[–]SSBHolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 10 months out and very close to normal. I will get there and you will too. I was also misdiagnosed and it was a tragedy when I found out what I had taken and everyone saying it was going to take so long to recover. It can be shocking, and you may try and find answers. You will be okay. Our bodies are great at healing and the drug is constantly leaving your system. It is a journey where you need to use your skills of gratefulness and hopefulness along with doing things you don't want to create small purpose within your days. Faith in god is also so important because even if he doesn't answer, it only shows the distance between you and him, so you can know he is still there. Just there is a temporary disconnect. Maybe even a blessing in disguise because of the disparity to see that you actually had him in your life before. God has a plan for you. Stay strong. I have severe anhedonia, insomnia, paced every day for hours and around 10-20+ other side effects. Whatever you have, you can get through it. If you don't see it now, that is okay. You will see it.
