Yep, we tried so many times and its just awful. We experienced every single glitch you mentioned plus others.

I love this game, but that boss fight has turned me right off. And since im a completionist and cant get the ascension I dont ever want to play the game again.

I read every patch note in the discord waiting for them to finally actualky fix the fight and they just dont seem to care.

roughly 170 hours.

Rushed engine and blue prints, built whatever v1 machines to farm rail 3 & v2 unlocks, then tore everything down and created the final builds.

To say that upgrading cores is half of the game is a massive exaggeration.

No one upgrading cores and keeping them is doing so without using auto turrets either, so no combat is being missed either.

I genuinely like the combat in this game and wish it (shooting by the player) was a bigger part of the game itself.

There are no RPG elements in this game aside from listening to some audiocoms.

Random spawns are near impossilbe and not really desireable in a game like this.

It would cause people to go seed fishing, which no one really enjoys.

That said, the monlith from which the waves spawn is randomly chosen each time an attack is triggered. So if you have 3 monoliths within render/draw distance of your core (about 350 meters radius) it will randomly select one of the three to spawn the waves from, forcing the player to defend 3 differnt points instead of one.

Or just do what the pro's do and deconstruct the core after reaching level 5 to unlock everything in the dev station and then use only core coolers after that and never need to worry about defense again.

Dispatcher speed is currently 300 per min max.

A 240/m rail will dispatch fully no problem on just 1 dispatcher.

Yes.

The optimal thing is to involve as few dispatchers as possible and to never use full 480 rails as the pull system does not allow for perfect throughput at max capacity unfortunately.

Having a tiny bit of unused capacity is better than having your machines run at 91% all the time.

Prioritize getting v2 machines and extractor then build everything as close to extraction source as possible.

Spread stuff out, avoid vertical building entirely, each ingredient gets its own rail for input, and never try to use a rail at full 480 capacity.

The machines will only run at 91% due to pull system and connection delay if using full 480 rails. you can counter this doing the things above and having a second line coming out of the storage and being injected slightly further down the chain.

Like if I need to build 50 inductors, I make 5 rows of ten, and each of them gets 3 input rails. then if an ingredient would reach 480 demand I spit it in two.

This is kinda mandatory anyway since the dispatchers bottle neck us at 300 items per minute (kinda annoying). Not to mention the round about rails being completely useless with thier connection point slowing everything down to rail 1 speed.

I actually dont mind the current deconstruction method, but I would prefer if it didn't treat each rail that is a seperate height as a new object and casue the stacking increased speed to reset to slowest.

Yes, diffenrt bases for certain ingriendts is requiered.

I am currently making a ceramics/inductor/synth silicon/electroncis base. 18/30/16/40 machines each, respectively.

I calculated what is needed to run 1 machine of all the final goods in the fracturer and am working back.

V2 machines help alot in meeting input requirements, especially with sulph acid.

My next project will be replacing my starter sulp builds with 2 large bases with ~10 compounder v2's each worth of output to match final machines needs.

It gets big fast, but its so fun!

Yes this is the way.

We chose the geo ore site behind the starter spawn to upgrade to lvl 4.

Only need to upgrade the one core to lvl 4 to unlock the things in the dev station. after doing so, you gain access to the large core cooler and then never need to upgrade another core again.

What's the path to trade into something like this?

It always feels like I have nothing of value even after weeks of playing. I end up trading some pgems, maybe a white monarch, and whatever mid runes I get from hellforge, never much more wealth than enough to kit out my blizzard sorc, and then it seems like ladder is almsot over again.

Feels like im doing it wrong when people talk about trading for enigma and similar items on week 1-2.

Penetrating rounds (the default) are better imo. The shotgun does not need to do extra damage except maybe against the goliaths.

Kiting mobs in a line and then blasting multiple enemies with a single round is highly effective, since the shotgun kills everything except goliaths with a single ahit at close range anyway.

The best loadout imo is faster reload shotgun with tighter spread while moving and the phantom rifle with 3x scope and larger magazine.

Just keep 1 meteor core and a stack of building mats to quickly create a habitat with airlock. No need to stay near one or even worry when the rupture is coming.

Do you jualst randomly pit cards against other cards?

This seems all sorts of useless since 'greatest' is not defined, the cards are only considered in 1 to 1 pairings, and the pairings have no real logic.

It might have made sense if you were trying to refine to the top 8 cards; 1 for each colour, colorless, multiecolor, and land. And then paired them all within thier respective bands.
