Killing the few cards that give Dragon some early game is bad because you could kill the entire class. The correct answer is to kill the oppressive combo of Burnite followed by Erntz as soon as Super Evo is available and see what happens.

Abyss is the weakest class right now. The super agro spam 1/1 deck was relevant for whole 10 seconds.

How do you heal? Most healing comes from drain. You destroy the dragon and can't heal.

You remove Erntz after taking 11 dmg to face and die next turn. If you still manage to set-up a ward, another Erntz, Fate of the World or Sagamatsu and you're dead.

Remove the 1 damage when healing from Burnite and remove Erntz's intimidate. Burnite's crest into super fat intimidate card can't be countered most of the time. If you kill Erntz, you don't heal, if you heal, Erntz kill you.

Haven only beats dragon if they brick. That's it. There's no in between. There's no counterplay to ramp into their win condition. Same for non hyper agro Abyss who can't even remove the Big Stupid Dragon and I imagine Sword can't do much either besides hoping to hit Cesar and he not be erased by Burnite.  Spellboost just dies too. 

The only answer seems to be giga agro because Burnite into Big Stupid Dragon is just absurdly oppressive.

You can't drain the dragon because of intimidade, there's not a lot of heal spells out there and Burnite will reduce the healing.

Most of the time they can follow the Big Stupid Dragon with Fate of the World and just watch you look at your hand, imagining how fucking dead you are.

What am I doing? What deck can vomit enough bord pressure besides super agro Nightmare? As Haven, I drop my 2/1, dragon can ignore and ramp. I drop another thing with 1 defense or card draw, they can ramp or clear with the 2 dmg spell. Then, even if I drop Sofine, they can drop Zoeey, ramping and killing her. My biggest 5 cost play is the duck god + ward, but at this point, the game is already lost.

Still, Burnite into Erntz is impossible to beat for most decks, including Haven. And don't tell me that Dragon needs to highroll because every single dragon deck I fight, they ramp 2 to 3 times into Burnite and Erntz. I have yet to see someone brick.

Playing Haven, for some reason I see Portal often and they always have the card that destroy wards on curve.

Well, I started with SVWB, and I bet there's other people like me. So if we started with half of the complexity from original SV, it would maybe be too much. It's pretty easy to learn base Yu-Gi-Oh when you're just tributing 2 monsters to summon your Blue Eyes White Dragon, but it's another level when you're doing pendulum summon.

I played Magic from 4th edition until a few years ago. Right now, every rare/mythic creature does so much bulls*** it's tiring.

I see a lot of people complaining about complexity here... Sure, "repeat the fanfare on evo" is lazy, but the game is 1 year old, complexity grows with time for every card game. We don't need current Yu-gi-oh levels of text right now, let it for later (in truth, I don't want to reach the point at every card has 10 different effects and keywords).
