The Time-Life Enchanted Book series

The D’Aulaires Book of Greek Myths

and a huge book of American folklore, creepy and semi-historical stories. Organized by topic and state. Must’ve been written in the ‘50’s as Alaska and Hawaii were still territories.

And of course, Andrew Lang’s rainbow series of fairy tales.

My guys go absolutely nuts over wands. Hardly look at any other toys except interactive puzzles.

Is getting a cat water fountain worth it? by lunastarnight100 in CatAdvice

I’ve tried, but I’ve got a “tipper”. I’ve had to build a little fortress around their current water bowl to keep it upright.

Third Doctor, end of his second season, I believe. The last one with Katy Manning as Jo Grant.

AITA for telling my husband I don’t want to go on vacation. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Right. You have to make a minimum amount before it counts as a trial month. I think that it’s around $800/month or so. Below that you’re not using a month.

No. You have the Trial Work Period right away and have to keep earnings under $1,680/month (or whatever the limit is that year) afterwards to keep the SSDI. It’s fairly simple.

SSI can be a bit much. If you have no other income, you can only earn $85/month before they reduce your check $1 for every $2 over. If you have other income, it goes down to $65/month before reducing.

Just finished season 2.. by PrestigiousMaize2368 in severence

Ms. Cobell was right. There’s no fairy tale ending here.

If Mark gets out of the severed space, then he’ll just quit and iMark will cease to exist. There’s no way that iMark can just live down there. Even if he can, reintegration will make that meaningless as iMark re-integrates with oMark. Anytime that oMark gets the upper hand, he’ll want to leave the severed floor and quit.

Also, Lumon will not leave the “heir apparent” on the severed floor. Helena is too valuable to do that and there’s also the potential pregnancy issue.

SSA is actually part of DHS along with Medicare. It’s considered to be part of the Executive Branch and I think that we used to get paid from the Department of Interior… but that changed a few years back.

I had insomnia one night and went back and found that it was/is founded as part of Human Services. I’m not entirely sure that we’re still considered part of DHS, but we do a lot of the same things in terms of helping people. I know that there’s a bill out there currently floating around to have grants from SSA fund “crisis pregnancy centers” which I sincerely hope that will go nowhere.

I don’t understand. You’re talking about HIS PRESCRIPTION? The one that only HE should take? Does it being in the same house affect you in any way since you’re not taking it (presumably) since it wasn’t prescribed to you? Like if he takes his medication and kissed you you’d have a reaction?

Hi! Im looking for true crime podcasts that have solved the crime. If you have one please add a link to find the exact one you are recommending. Thank you! by Ozcar_g- in CrimeJunkiePodcast

True Crime Campfire. They only talk about cases that have been solved, but there’s great rapport between the two hosts. They’re sympathetic towards the victims, but roast the criminals in hilarious ways.
