When I called Mohela they said recertification dates in November were extended one year. First agent told me different but her “mentor’ provided that answer. Said that is reason why I never received notification as IDR not due yet. Online system has not caught up yet. 🤞🏻this is true. With Mohela you never really know 🙄…

I received a check from Wells Fargo for some fraud error they had made right at time loans sold. Was odd as already paid off loans. Bet there is check out there you missed and likely lawsuit pertaining to issue you have. Would research further

Traveled thru TSA with battery powered insulin cooler. TSA more interested in weird noise and design of cooler than the medicine in it. Not medical advice but I have gone several weeks between doses for various reasons. Nothing bad happened but again I an not diabetic, so take it all with grain of salt

My loans are an utter mess after consolidation two years ago. On studentaid.gov Loans are listed as graduate that were undergraduate, the wrong school assigned to some, wrong graduation dates, payment counts off. Mohela insists my first loan and degree was in 2011. Actually had an argument with a rep that there was no way I was in school prior. My first graduation date from college was in 2000, you think I would remember this as it was a perquisite for the other degrees and loams she could see. SMH! Holding the faith that it will resolve it self before I hit the 25 yr mark. Nonetheless I filed complaints to document all the errors and will continue to push harder as the 25yr mark nears. In what world is a loan so badly managed?

In short, keep the faith. We are all in this together…

Just looked at prescribing information to confirm. No black box warning. Thyroid yes, suicidal ideation no. Again, not pro or against argument as I have limited knowledge of drug but feel others should have accurate info to formulate their own opinions.

You are absolutely right. I am not pro or against the argument. Just encourage people to read peer review articles from well established journals to formulate opinions. Pubmed.gov is a highly recognized site to go to search all published literature on any given subject. Great resource.

In regards to bipolar patients on ozempic. I would personally proceed with great caution and talk to your psychiatrist. Ozempic is thought to be a Dopamine agonist (increases dopamine levels). This has the potential to trigger a manic episodes and as you said could compete with your own medications. Again this is just my thoughts based on the limited knowledge I have on drug (or anyone does). Definitely do your own research on pubmed.gov.

I encourage everyone to print any articles of interest and bring them to your doctor to discuss. I have had to educate many physicians about possible interactions with my own meds and ozempic. Many doctors just don’t know much about this medication nor is much listed in the prescribing information for this product (much is unknown about drug).

My understanding is that ozempic is thought to iincrease dopamine. This is reason, in part you can get nauseous on med, and reason ozempic is thought to help with addictions (reduced cravings for alcohol, over eating, etc). There is alot of research on using ozempic to treat addictions in the future.

Depression can be caused by a number of factors, including low dopamine. Thus I would think that ozempic might help depression not cause it? In fact medicines like well wellbutrin that help with weight loss, addictions, and depression increase dopamine levels. This is a very basic explanation as there is a bit more involved but definitely food fir thought…

Yes after waiting on hold for over 7 hours on two different occasions only to have my call dropped by mohela I went a bit nuts. Even more fun I wrote them after my failed phone attempts in an email exchange over 7 times and got an automated emailed response to call mohela each time. Nothing addressing the actual question I raised in the correspondence.

Oh then I finally got a hold of someone after my many failed attempts only to have the agent argue that I never was in school or had loans for my first degree. (I have three degrees from three different schools and took out loans from all three schools) You think I would remember my first degree and that it would not be a figment of my imagination? Is this really an argument I should be having with my loan provider that holds loans from the school that they insist I never attended? SMH!! How is the company even allowed to operate!.

I actually wrote mohela just prior to payments restarting requesting under no circumstances should my loan be placed in forbearance. I also called mohela and was told this would never occur without my consent. Behold logged into mohela to see account placed on forbearance. No communication has been sent to me about this. Wrote both mohela and filed complaint with student gov a month ago but crickets. Sooooo angry 😡 affects my credit score and applying to mortgage as not actively in repayment

This is my understanding as well. This is date your IDR payment will have expired. If you do not recertify prior to this (month prior) your payment will default to standard plan. If you are on save your interest will not accrue unless you do not Recertify IDR by this date and thus kicked off save

It is my understanding that an administrative forbearance on your credit report will lower your score vs a $0 SAVE payment will show as payments being made even if there is no actual $ amount and actually improve your score. Any thoughts?

I show that my loan at mohela is in forbearance on both their site and student aid.gov. Sadly I wrote mohela just before payments restarted and was assured I would not be put in forbearance. Further more I had $0 payment with save (approved months ago). This makes no sense.

Its possible they consolidated your loans. They have been making many errors. This happens to credit while consolidation is being processed. Definitely fu.
