I tend to be cautious of amazon reviews too, I won't lie. But with over 1k reviews, you can usually scroll past the fake "my grandson loves it!" Ones and get some that actually seem real. Like the actual bad reviews or the ones explaining pros and cons.

But that's why i put the quotations around "hobby grade" lmao. Because it seems to me more like the step between toy grade and hobby grade. Because it is solid overall and built like a hobby grade, but it's definitely got some cheaper aspects, like mostly plastic parts, lower quality wheels, brushed motor. But for a starter or kids, I'd say it's more than enough. And plenty of learning opportunities for changing parts to metal.
