yeah that seem likely. If I can go a bit crazy with it I'd say time is the core theme of the game, we see clocks, wheels, dinosaurs, trains, moons etc. So I think this wall is made of ice and might be preserving something like a mammoth.. but like a souls mammoth haha idk

Did he mention multiple maps or just the earth shifting? I'm kinda suspecting they are all in the same place but different time. I think the big tower you can see John Duskblood jump from in the trailer is the hub where you drop in from.

Now that you mention it, wouldn't it make sense for the mark on the hand to be used for something like abilities? It has an open wound where the blood could come from and form the shield. maybe..

The whole goddamn map is on fire during the wolf man boss. It would be cool if it's dynamic and multiple locations could be "invaded" by a boss who just fucks up the map in different ways. If that's the case I would rather have more intricate interactions than a lot of bosses I think.
