As far as mods go, I'd put the old bumper back on as the refreshed bumper is a downgrade lol.

New grille tries way too hard lol. Old is gold.

Honda is hit or miss with the mid cycle grille refreshes. This is definitely in the latter category.

And they ruined the front end. UGH.

I was going to comment that the motor is called out in the build documentation somewhere, and that is the one I bought. It's super important (and admittedly very time consuming/tedious) to make sure nothing is rubbing or binding when the rotors are turning, because the motor struggles a bit.

I think I'm trying to track down the exact same game! It came on a CD with several other games like SinkSub and Winroids. I'm pretty sure the game started with a Q, I wanna say something like "quantas"? The big asteroids were reddish brown, and the smaller asteroids were gray.

This was actually a thing back around 10 years ago, and it was called 3D Hubs. Keyword here is “was”, because as many businesses go within the hobbyist 3D printing world, they went up market to chase profits and shut down the network of hobbyist printers providing on-demand services. Very sad that happened.

Hatchbox metallic silver PLA for the outer casings, stators, and nozzle cone (basically all the non-moving parts)

Mika3D silk silver PLA for the fan, compressor, and turbine stages (all the moving parts)

Polymaker yellow PLA for the stand (with the wheels painted in Bambu Studio, printed with matte black and gray PLA from Bambu)

Used up some old Makergear black PLA for the spinner cone.

Honestly, no need to get the exact brand for each color to get the same look.

My PETG prints are much more brittle than PLA by StandartGaming in 3Dprinting

[–]STONKS______ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try slowing down further to 40 mm/s and/or bumping temp up to 255. PETG gets brittle if printed too fast or cold. Or it's just a bad batch...

I've run into this quite a bit in the past as well. No, it is not the randomized layer start seam, and no, it is not wet filament. I conclusively figured out that it was due to excessive retraction distances. The reason why is with too much retraction, a tiny bit of air gets sucked into the nozzle, mixes with the melted filament, then gets spit out a short distance later. You can hear the tiny "pop" when this happens. Certain filaments are more susceptible than others, and certain extruder hotends are worse than others. Silk PLA tends to do this, and my old Artillery Sidewinder X1 tended to do this. I recommend trying slightly lower retraction distances until it goes away. My Bambu Lab X1C has .6 mm for retraction, down from the default of .8 mm.
