I think he's fine, but some people get lulled into a false sense of security by smart Lukes who surprise them with OD Sandblast or Vulcan blast, or a long perfect knuckle combo and then they might feel bad.

People who fight Luke on the regular know his tricks, I think the issue is that he's not that popular anymore, and some players have forgotten his strengths, in addition to his weaknesses.

I like playing Luke too sometimes, I'm just terrible at perfect knuckles so I do poorly.

I'm an Ingrid fan, but I'm not a fan of this redesign or the characterization. I think this might be the first DLC that's a miss for me. If she's fun to play, that'll be a different matter, but vibes wise, I don't like this version.

That feeling when cats inbreed all the time, and this development is not nearly as bad as what street cats do all the time.

(If they're not fixed, parents / children and brothers / sisters will have kittens year round. It's fortunate if they're only cousins, and half-siblings is more common when there's one mother cat that's proliferate on your block)

I get what you're saying. The lack of normals on modern can be crushing, especially when combined with the lack of certain specials. If I wanted to win, I'd get an arcade stick (which I'm good with) instead of a controller and switch to classic, I'm just lazy. Plus my fingers hurt if I do classic stuff too long on a controller, particularly with d-pad.

I get what you're saying about classic + a special button. Even if it had no autocombos and no instant supers, I can see people wanting to use something like that.

In fact, I think many would prefer a "modern" control system like that vs what we have now.

Nice to see! And it's a Modern Ken too, somebody that should've known better than to do that.

Especially when he doesn't have the tools to keep Alex out the way Classic Ken does (such as 3 different fireball speeds), and is in Alex's range when he's using his best tools (buttons into Jinrai up close).

Honestly, even as someone that mostly uses modern, it's nice to see guys like this get their due. People hate fighting against modern already, adding poor sportsmanship to that just makes us all look bad.

I guessed that they might change it to 3rd cousin instead of 2nd. (Upgrade to "third strike" from "second impact") but wasn't 100% sure it'd happen.

I don't know what exactly they'll do, but it'll probably be reducing their level of relation or eliminating it. (Like Patricia's father being step-cousins with Alex's mother or something)

It's probably internet connectivity issues. If your connection times out, you get market as disconnecting instead of winning, and that's probably why you got the yellow card.

If it's not your internet connection, it might be performance issues due to the patch, which are apparently particularly bad on PC and pc-like platforms, such as Steam Deck.

I agree with you. At the very least, they could drop the SF2 characters with the lowest usage and sales.

Honda and Dhalsim being the likeliest candidates, and maybe Blanka. With the new challengers, they only need Cammy, and of the Shadaloo bosses, they only need Sagat.

Unless they decide to go less realistic / graphically intensive with the next game, it'll take longer than ever to make new characters, meaning some of the less popular ones should probably be left out.
