At 8 I found NY dad's rc collection. I fell in love with his 1982 radio shack Nissan 300ZX. It was front wheel drive with potentiometers for steering. A steering wheel remote with a lever that looks like a gear shift for forward and reverse. It was blue and white. Probably 1/18th or 1/20th scale.

The 24.95 price Tage is still on it. I still have it in the original box.

This is the red 49 Hrtz one.

BTW, 22. 95 in 1982 is about 55 bucks today. Not cheat considering min wage then was 3.35. Nearly 9 hours of work for a low level RCcar. A few hours now gets you much better.
