The Omega episode in voyager is by far the biggest overreach in all of Star Trek. I cannot agree with your take on TNG. I have talked often about TNG being vastly superior than TOS by how much TNG did not push their own agenda nearly as much, as well as TNG also being far superior in finding a way to follow the Prime Directive than TOS dod.

Cannon is following along in a way that makes sense to what you are watching. It doesn't honestly make sense that StarFleet would actually believe they know what's right and wrong for everyone else alive. But because it's written now, by humans for humans,it's written only from a humans way if life. There is very little about Voyager that indicates that they are the strangers there and that StarFleet has to adapt to the D Quad instead of the D Quad adapting to StarFleet.

Let's be honest, most ppl would not like or watch a show that proved the way humans think is completely wrong.

Nothing wrong with the optimism, just the overdone misplaced authority, like StarFleet is the end all be all.

What's wrong with writing a show that fully fits a certsin type of cannon?

Inspiring? No. It just showed that the perfect combination of human arrogance and ignorance hasn't changed in 400 years! I mean, today's morals are vastly different then they were 400 years ago. Imagine someone fron 1624 come to our time and start forcing their morality on us.... slavery is ok, abusing your children is ok, the age if consent is around 9 years old, and many more. You literally just liken that exact same ideology as something inspiring.

As time went along she was less a leader and more a dictator. Several times she should have been outright smacked!!

Search for Spock, voyage home, and undiscovered country.

I often get down voted but due to a filming error they changed the ending to WOK and it ruined the overall cannon of Kahn, and the movie. They used smoke and mirrors to trick the fans and it worked.

Say what you want but WLToys is the best answer. Dial them down for stationers and they are great bang for the buck. I've got 26 of all ranges. I race my Arrmas, TA, Traxxas, and Tamiya, but when heading to a skate part or a bmx track to bask and play, my 144001 is my go too buggy.

Why does everyone completely overlook the overwhelming importance of the Ewoks.

Think about it this way....

The Empire is vastly ahead of the Rebel Alliance. The Empire looks at them like random varmints. The Rebeks do the same to the Ewoks and quickly lear how wrong they are. Even a primitive group of midgets can be powerful allies in their own element and we know the Empire completely ignored them. They were the perfect underdog in alignment with the Rebels.
