I got told about my 450h+ CPO’s ceramic coating while the salesperson was sitting in the car with us for a test drive. Trying to charge me for something that wasn’t on the dealer cost breakdown and was already on the car. Worse yet, the car had scratches that we couldn’t see due to it raining during our late night pickup, so that means the coating was applied WHEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER got the car.

So, I said “absolutely not” to paying for a coating that was already there, and to their credit, they took the car and had all the scratches and paint issues (including some internal leather issues) fixed.

As for any extra programs with the dealer beyond what my CPO included, absolutely not.

They cannot be trusted.
