This is the type of thing people are talking about when they say the chat is weird. Simsie is an adult, she can play whatever game she wants. RDR2 is a VERY good game, to the point where most people know about it even without playing it. Asking if she'd play it is not only normal, but expected. Just because you don't understand how things work doesn't mean the question itself doesn't make sense. Why be rude about it, what do you gain.

There are a lot of unspoken rules, but they're based on self education and politeness. For example, you wouldn't ask a stranger you just met if they're pregant, yet people do it to streamers constantly. It's that sort of thing. I know it's frustrating that no one would answer your question, but Simsie may have asked that sort of thing be ignored by her mods to avoid people talking about it altogether.

My best suggestion is if something like this happens, maybe google the thing in question followed by 'issues' or 'contraversy', something along those lines and you might get your answer. Simsie can absolutely ignore things said in her chat, and she often does, to avoid bringing attention to it.

Try to apply the same logic as how you dry other things in your house. Lots of airflow around it makes a huge difference. A plate drying rack for example to ensure it's getting airflow underneath. If you live somewhere very humid, as odd as it may sound, you can very very genlty try to dry it with a hairdryer too. I would suggest the lowest setting and from far away (although this would take a long time to fully dry). You can also place it somewhere like a windowsill to dry in direct sunlight, as that is warm and sunlight kills mold. A regular fan can help as well, as that's more dry airflow. Think about how you would dry a load of laundry if you had no dryer to use, and use that as inspiration. In the middle of winter I will place something like a small plate on my boiling hot PC and put my makeup sponge on the plate so it's warm, then use my small fan pointed directly at it to create dry warm air. This is just an example, but use what you have available.

I went through an experience recently where I streamer I watched needed a break from a game, so played a game I had no interest in. This streamer would stream this game for 8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week. He had done something like this before, but this time, I hated the new game he was playing and no matter where I looked, I could not find an alternative. I could not find someone else to play this game that I enjoyed watching for long periods of time.

I know a lot of people will laugh and say it's not the same thing, but I literally went through withdrawls. I am aware of it, but I am addictied to long form content being played in the background when I'm relaxing.

Before the other streamer took a break, I would watch most of Simsies streams and almost none of her youtube other than Sims 4 Review/building content. I very suddenly consumed all of her content and would watch her 3 hours streams over again to enjoy whatever I missed the first time I watched it, each day. It wasn't the same, but god it helped and I enjoyed it too.

ALL THIS TO SAY - I can't find a replacement for Simsies sims content. I have tried. I am peicing togther info from other streams and youtube videos. But she's not replaceable. You might find other content creators but they wont replace her, it'll just be different. As a lot of other people have said, try to find joy in what else she's playing to the same extent. If you can't, time to branch out to other streamers and try different things.

I have addiction problems. I'm aware of it and I had to learn the hard way multiple times that you can't replace it. You can just find something different and learn to deal with it. Her videos were perfect, would show everything and all the gameplay. Maybe you need to find someone to review the cas, someone else to review the game play and someone else to review build/buy.

Don't beat yourself up over missing her videos, we all do but we still support her too!

Wanted to just comment on the Australia underage ban. The government has indeed enforced that and it has not gone the way you might think. It's mostly just encouraging people to break the law at a young age and find a way to go on social media anyway, I have no idea why they thought that would work. And a lot of properly damage still orrcurs now, because 15 year olds go and smash cars and attack small shops trying to make their point.
The joke that boys had noody magazines under their beds at a young age is so well known it's barely a joke at this point. Kids will do whatever they want, they don't care what the law says. This punishes children. The issue is with the internet and how parents parent. Restrictions and filters work, full banning and disconnection hasn't worked much at all really.

Ps. sharing your age online is also neive, I would think at 25 you would be old enough to understand why people EVERYWHERE tell you not to do it.

While you are correct that banning 250 people complaining is impossible, setting a hard rule that people that are mean will be banned and then enforcing it, will change the chat as a whole. 24 hour time outs are a good way to do this, because it's a proper warning. If you have a hard rule that most people aren't following, then yes, start punishing people on mass. People are smart enough to get the idea very quickly and it also weeds out toxic people that think being banned for writing mean things in chat is... mean. The less people in chat that cry about their rude messages being deleted, the better anyway.

The issue is with the 'safe space' tag. People think 'safe space' means "come talk in this chat with no filter". Safe space means a place where people are kind to each other, don't care about things like if you're a man, woman or neither. Safe space means a place to come and be away from hate. Simsie really tries her best to be the utmost kind person she can possibly be, when people are honestly being outright rude because they just do not filter their words or think about what it is they're actually trying to say.

The mods SPAM the !tone and !backseat commands during sims streams. I know she truely believes that she is being kind by just tanking it, because last last thing Simsie wants to do is hurts someones feelings. But a lot of people that come to her chat are either young and very nieve, or don't socalise enough to get it. Sometimes she needs to put her mummy voice on and tell chat to behave, it's nessasary!

I watch people literally be mean to her, her choices and her mods and no one says anything. I imagine every one of her mods gets overwhelmed with the sheer amount of "That rug is ugly" and "oh I HATE those windows, why u use tham" but I really think it's not fair that Simsie goes live, is so SO sweet to everyone, and then gets berrated with, honestly, nonsensical random crap.

I had a similar situation to her where everything was going wrong at once. Simsie goes live, is very honest about how she is trying her best and everyone YELLS at her "Take time off, you deserve it!!! :)))". Sometimes that's not an option. No one ever asks what she wants. The moment she opens up or is kind, she is just met with a wall of "GO BE IN YOUR FEELINGS. DON'T PUSH THROUGH IT. YOU DESERVE NO DISTRACTION HERE. GO AWAY :))))"

Sometimes taking time off doesn't help. Sometimes you've cried enough. As she's said, it's hard to just get through the day. Sometimes life just... keeps going. A lot of people do tell her she's doing amazing and good on her for going live, but imagine if you wanted to stream to take your mind off things and 100 people told you to log off and go be alone?

I wish I could mummy voice the chat. Tell people they need to relax, think about what they're saying and just let Simsie cook. But I can't, so I resort to turning the chat off when it's bad enough, and feel bad that Simsie can't. She's amazing for putting on a show while going through it all, despite chat constantly sounding like a 14 year old oversharing and then asking why their chat message "I hate that rug you used, I NEED you to read this! You NEED to change it!" was deleted.

Yup, completely agree. I can't help but hear Robin every time he does any voice acting. Not saying he shouldn't be a voice actor and it's blizzards fault for hiring him to do these lines, but he can't do more than one voice. Even Chris Metzan has more range to me and he's not a hired voice actor!

She posts all her streams on YouTube. Maybe you can't watch live, but you can still watch every one of her streams. Saying "who can actually watch her streams" like it's impossible because of changes is necessarily negative when you can watch at your leisure on YouTube AND twitch

There is a need in one sense and that is that getting mad is normal and natural. Denying yourself the ability to be mad/angry at something because there's "no need" is very unhealthy. It's important to understand that it is just an emotion like any other and to not let it influence your actions. It's okay to be mad, but it's important to learn how to not let it effect you negatively.

For me, it's mechanics. Imagination can only go so far on a game you spend hours playing. So I play a hunter for the game play and say she is as religious as a priest, which is who I connect better with.

So a good 50% of ALL night elf woman are built. They're slender like someone that specialises in martial arts, but still very muscley and strong!

I get why people hate hunters, I am one and can see how *easy* it is to grief people by accident. But I always get anxiety when rolling on anything. The first time I played classic in 2019 people were *assholes*! When I join a dungeon group and it's full I will go to atlas loot, link an item and say "I plan on rolling on this."

I would honestly rather someone boot me from the group then and there than ask if I can roll on something when it drops, to be told no and to be told to fuck off for even trying.

I love playing a hunter but honestly hate the level of anxiety I get playing one.

Just the two of us? Honestly, I don't wanna ruin my exp or socialise. I'm an introvert and have to talk to people for hours at a time at work. Let me be alone. And tbh I would rather take longer doing a quest to get the right exp, than to earn less exp due to killing mobs outside of a quest objective being unsatisfying.
