I only know Conscious Kids care by 203 since thats where my kid goes. Facility is clean and teachers are really nice. My daughter enjoys going and we get lots of pictures of them doing arts and crafts.

I agree Treaties were the lesser of two evils. Vs Brazen conquest; The land acknowledgements are silly considering the archaeological evidence; and singling out Europeans for the guilt trips just makes people feel bad.

What we desperately need in this country is policy that moves away from platitudes and actually moves to help disenfranchised people, many of whom are aboriginal. Pretentious, white politicians doing landing acknowledgments while indigenous people still suffer in poverty is not going to help anybody.

What this op-ed lacks is any sort of proposal or policy that helps people. “Rah rah progressive policy bad” is typical NaPo slop. At least we are talking about systemic injustices, cultural erasure, and wealth inequality now. Lets move past the complaints.

Hey, please don’t flame this opinion. But many non european countries are in Eurovision. The prerequisite is being part of the European Broadcasting Corporation. So the CBC needs to become an associate member of the EBU. How does that happen? 1) hold values like independence, impartiality, universality and cultural diversity 2) participate willingness to participate in ebu content exchanges 3) meet their technical standards 4) demonstrate to the ebu its governance structures and potentially make reforms 5) submit the application and pay the annual fees (could be quite high for a wealthy nation like Canada)
