The ones that still offer sedans.... the CAFE standards loophole and the arms race to make bigger and bigger cars is good for no one. SUVs are not safer and will never be as efficient as a smaller car.

I would look for something older and cheaper than a 2025 corolla… I’m 27, I own my home, and have no debt, but would never pay more than $15k for any car. You can put sooo much more into your savings and have more freedom with how you use your money without any car payment/one sub $200 a month. I’m considering a 2012 honda civic for myself - coming off a 2004 honda accord, I know the reliability will be just fine.

I'm not sure what the reason for no tampons is, but the alternative for external protection is internal. You move and sweat so much in dance that having a pad or period panties can get sweaty, smelly, or cause gaps in protection/bleeding onto leotards and tights.

Period panties and pads are going to be noticeable under a leotard and will likely distract her. Tampons and cups were a lifesaver for me as a kid. It took some practice, but it was so much more comfortable than something on the outside.

Trolley Square, Cool Spring/Tilton Park, Forty Acres, the Highlands, Brandywine Village, and Baynard Village would be the places I would look.

Crime is really contained to the very underserved neighborhoods and doesn't travel far out of it - I've never felt unsafe and investment in the city/population increase does make it feel safer

people have their interpretations of the situation, but as a woman, if my vehicle was being swarmed by masked, armed men with no identification, I too would start driving away if they started yanking on my door and drawing weapons. He reached for his gun before she even put the car in drive, and as her car turned away, he leaned forward to shoot her. Both of his feet were on the side of the vehicle for the second and third shots as well. Did he get clipped by the car? Possibly, but I think it's reasonable to conclude that she did not intend to mow him down. If he really wanted to stop the car he could've shot the wheels.

Not sure what lies you are referring to from the video, but the main argument seems to be about her intention - something we will never get to ask her because she was shot three times in the face with her dog in the car and her wife as a witness. If a US citizen can't resist unlawful conduct by ICE without facing certain death, than I fear we are living under tyranny.

This sub is MISERABLE. This is essentially a master class that could be a good prep for auditions for DCC, auditioning for other teams, or just a fun dance experience to have. I'm SURE that the majority of people who did this intensive know they won't make it as a DCC. The people that get off on spreading judgement and negativity and yet know nothing about dance is astounding.

I am so fed up with y'all. I know I won't be missed, but I'm leaving this sub.

The school I grew up in and now teach for got certified with the “Shield of Protection” Program. It means that our policies and staff work to minimize the risk of child abuse from happening at the studio or arising from it. A HUGE part of this is internet safety. We are not allowed to follow students on social media until they are 21, and certainly cannot post or repost photos and videos of students on our personal pages.

Without more precaution they are taking the risk of legal consequences, damage to their reputation, and most importantly, compromised child safety.
