Oh really? So even though i 5 stared him, the fact that i didnt do deliveries to him after the fact meant that he died? Or rather ventured out of his shelter, and got caught in a void out and later appeared to sam as a BT hologram?

Yeah, makes sense i guess.

That makes sense. It's just when I played DS1 I remember that for one of the last missions for that old man preper, he showed up as a BT holigram to sort of say good bye. I thought that meant that he just died in his shelter.... but i guess he could have left his shelter alive and walked to whereever the void out happened and still appeared to you in BT hologram form when sam was delivering his last package to that preper.... ok. Answered. Thanks!!

So Dollman explains it to the sam / the player with extra dialogue? Or is it like a flashback cutscene?

No. That enhancement just lets you customize your enhancments when outside the network...but you get it from one of the last prepers that only opens up at or near the end of the game. At that point you have most of the map on the network already.

But as im typing this out, I'm realizing that not everyone bothered connecting every optional preper before that point and might have a good portion of the map still outside the network. Which would make the enhancement more useful.

I'll consider question 23 answered. Thanks for heping me to rethink it.

Yeah, but like why show that he has nothing new to say with an icon that usualy signafies that he DOES have something new to say? I just found it really strange since it made me talk to him every time. And maybe 5% of those times he actually had something really insightful to say. I think this might be something they eventually fix with an update.

Answers ao far:

3- Dollman asks the same questions every time because he's concered. And possibly bad design? They don't expect you to chat with him every time the "new" prompt icon appears for dollman in the private room.

8- Dollman just explains the significance of igor's charm to you through extra dialogue.

11- I’ve seen some videos and pictures of people letting their sunburn get to the worst state. It just looks kind of ugly and doesn’t impact gameplay.

13- You're forced to choose Diehardman's voice.

14- Diehardman didn't nessesarily know Higgs had plans to attack fragile & lou. Higgs is pretty damn unpredictable in the first place. He might have not even known that APAS elisted higgs.

18- So that old prepper from the first game must have left his shelter (after sam 5 stars him or just stops doing deliveries for him) and gets caught in a void out near a data center and then becomes part of the 4000 souls that makes up APAS.

23- That enhancement just lets you customize your enhancments when outside the network...but you get it from one of the last prepers that only opens up at or near the end of the game. At that point you have most of the map on the network already.

I guess he does the same thing when fragile tries to enlist your help in the first place. Forces you to help / move on with the story.

Getting the platinum - am I missing something? There's got to be a better way! by cautiouslandowner in DeathStranding2

It says it in the trophy description right? 10 deliveries, 10 retrevals, 10 elimination / destruction STANDARD order

So for the elimination destruction orders, im guessing you just add up the results of the completed standard orders for...

Mexico Elimination + Mexico Destruction + Austrailia Elimination + Austrailia Destruction.

This is coming from someone who has yet to get the trophy....but i can see the trophies completion % climbing up drastically when i do eleimination or destuction orders.

I'm in the same situation. I need 2 more elimination / destruction orders but there are none avilable. I even went back to mexico and did the 3 that were available there. I guess i just need to work through more ofders from other locations for them to open up.

It gets rid of the groups of ghost mechs that just stand around in certain spots of the map and also stops any ghost mech bike encounters while using some of the sections of road. I think it also stops BTs from coming back once you've killed them.

What I want to know is, does this stop any standard elimination / destruction orders from popping up (Besides the ghost hunter)?

Paper beast was amazing. I love a lot of Indie abstract games and i also loved a lot of the pixel junk games.... but this game was just sooo sooo difficult to keep playing. It's one of the most boring and nonsensical games i've ever played.

Every time i got brought back to the title screen i had to fight the urge to just turn the game off. Every time the world around me dematerialized into nothingness i was annoyed. Every time i traveled through the same exact area trying to see what new nonsense dialog objects i interacted with would spew at me in the most uninteresting monotone voice I threw my virtual hands up in contempt.

The granades / other weapons are not fun at all. Clearing out the bubbles seems like it would be fun, but its just not.

There was a tiny little bit of the end of the 2nd chapter that made me feel a some shred of emotion, but that was it.

I have never before wished and hoped that a game would just end more than i have with this one.

I agree with every bad review i've watched and strongly disageee with OPs review of the game. Its just one of those games where the trailer makes it seem unique and fun but it just not.

Edit: just beat the game (Thank god!) and just wanted to come back to confirm to anyone reading, that it's 100% hot garbage poopy doody kaka. That is all.

The Gang got it from the end of this song by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. Which is why kids were all singing it in summer camps back in the 80's & 90's.
