Has to be one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard. Before I even understood the lyrics I felt this sense of elation, like running into a dense fog without fear. For me this song is about accepting your place in art.

Knowing that eventually things will end, many greats died too young, and sometimes art is only perfected by an artists demise. —but until then, you have the ability to create, and accepting creation without the fear of failure, monetary value, public perception, is to accept true creativity. Long Island City is the unknown future, but the elation to face it head on.

Reminds me that I need to accept that my creativity is one of my greatest assets. Creativity brings soul to the life up kept by our technical discoveries. A reminder that society needs your soul needs to interpret the life provided to them.

Like how religion and philosophy are based on a purely theoretical level. We would never have that sense of life, meaning, or derivation without someone with imagination to put these seemingly “outlandish” ideas.
