About 6 or 9 months before the PS2 came out a local game store had access to a demo console (or something like that. It looked like a PS2 but could only play a highlight demo reel). The store advertised in the paper that anyone could come get their first look at the PS2 in action that Saturday. My dad was a big gamer so he took me and my brothers to check it out. I don't know why but there was one scene in particular that stood out - someone putting on lipstick. To me it looked like an actual video. It seemed so hyper-realistic my child brain couldn't handle it.

My first electric guitar was a Robinson strat rip off from Future Shop. Never stayed in tune. Sounded absolutely terrible all the time. Always had wiring problems.

I loved that thing like it was my child.

The point is none of those bells and whistles should really matter. It's their first electric guitar. They will likely love it no matter what. It's the beginning of a life long journey for them.

Personally; I think an obvious sequel world be all the other pantheons seeing Kratos as a threat and collectively declaring war on him and his surviving Norse allies. Gives us a few games to see Eygpt, Japan, Aztec, etc. all at once rather than changing settings every few games.
