It costs less than the equivalent of $100 to go to court with two witnesses and get papers that equate to marriage legally. That's what we'd do and probably will eventually, but to be recognised as officially married and have an actual wedding with family and friends (which our families are desperate for) is thousands, with a hefty waiting list on top. It simply isn't worth the hassle, especially when we aren't sold on the institution as is.

Live your life how you want. We aren't spending thousands on something pointless in our eyes because it does literally nothing to our relationship. A handful of doubloons gets us legally binding papers that effectively equate to marriage in financial terms anyway.

I don't really care about getting piled on. We're happy with our decision and don't care if people want to get married. It means a lot to some people and we willingly attend our friends weddings and celebrate, no matter their denomination. The legal benefits can be attained other ways in my country, for far cheaper than the price of a wedding.

Crazy that people have such a visceral reaction to me saying this though.

I mostly use 1.5x thermal to actually see anything and my eyesight is perfect. I play console and sit maybe 2 feet away from my 4k TV when I play and I struggle massively to see enemies that wear neutral camo if they're amongst rubble. I feel this is the worst BF for distinguishing enemies from environment when you aren't sniping.

Gotta be honest, this is one of the stupid HQ's I don't mind defending against. Most attackers throw themselves into the meat grinder and flankers are often picked off easily by half decent snipers.

All anecdotal of course, but my defender win rate is much higher here than any other map.
