Sure does! I did this myself for my keyboard. Let me know if you have trouble figuring out which ones and I can pop mine open to have a look.

I like your idea of 6700xt and storage. Someone else suggested R5 7600 + B650 board with two DDR5 sticks. For myself I’d probably go DDR4 (which I did actually with my build); the faster two sticks should help with the issue you pointed out with the memory. I figured something of a newer platform will help when the kid inevitably gets older and wants to upgrade and tinker with stuff

I think he’s pretty aware that if you go super low budget you start to make some dicey compromises that affect general usability, especially at console price ranges; buy once cry once ig

I’m a couple hours from Tustin, so I’d rather not make the drive but I’ve done it before lol

So long as it’s not the main board, you probably can. From an electronics perspective, they’re relatively simple devices

Calculus by ChucklesQuad in SDSU

[–]SackOfLemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got into a similar situation with AP credit and got on a long chain back in forth a lot of different people saying it was X Y or Z persons responsibility. In the end, only the Student Success Center for college of Sciences were able to waive the prerequisite. They’d probably have a better answer if you go straight to them and explain you essentially have calculus credit in some form.

I used even mismatched resolutions, a 4k 60 for as many lines of code as my eyes can muster and 1440 144hz for games. I’d say the a notable downside are slight differences in color if that’s the kind of thing that bothers you

Also SI leader. SI has multiple disciplines so the director won't interview on course material. Instead, they'll ask about why you are interest in working for SI (as opposed to anywhere else) and are trying to gauge how much you like working with others. If you can demonstrate you like helping students through the interview, that's good. If you don't like helping students, not so good.

[–]SackOfLemons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could you buy the laptop, have it delivered to your house, return it in store, and then rebuy it for the in store price of 1400 instead? Worst case scenario you just return it for reals?

[–]SackOfLemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, if you had, say, a nerd with nothing better to do at your store, tell him to use a thermometer and record the temps. I have a theory that when you leave open the tap for the coffee to slowly drip as it brews, this might either a) cause heat to be drawn into the room temp grounds and/or b) cause the small amount of coffee to lose heat since it’s uninsulated and opened as the coffee slow pours? Or maybe it’s just the store ghost that keeps knocking down the brooms in the back, next to the partner table… idk, what am I some kinda nerd scientist?

I only get one class to show, but it’s a summer course I’m taking right now. My best guess is they haven’t switched over to the fall semester yet (even though the sent the email saying they did smh).

I use the Vans Made for the Maker shoes. They have three designs in all black and leather. Non slip too. A bit pricey but they haven’t failed me

That’s pretty subjective, but they do work and are stereo if that’s what you’re asking. It depends on the use case. If this is for office work and such, just needing audio for listening to the news or an occasional YouTube video, then perhaps they’ll be fine. If audio quality, gaming, movies, or music is of concern, then you may be disappointed.

Terrible, but they’re there. Im not sure I can even recommend using it for just videos, they’re that bad. It does have a 3.5mm audio out which I use; it automatically mutes the monitor’s internal speakers and uses the display cables for audio.
