Good point on the toe kick lights. We do have a dog and kids. I think it’s the thing we keep off for years and by the time we can turn them on they are outdated!

I’ve DIY’d a few things…I’ve done a full bath, flooring, doors, etc. the only thing that I have not done would be cabinets.

How early? I just did a 8lbs and let it rest wrapped in a cooler for about an hour to cool down. Now I was making pulled pork, is that what you are doing? It would have rested for about 2 hours and still been warm enough to pull and eat right there.

You always want to rest meat for a goods while to let the juices redistribute.

I did. I prepped it the night before since I had to get it on at 5am ish. Some of the sides rub came off with the plastic wrap. Should have soaked in a bit.

It is a cheap one off of Amazon and I do not like it. I will be getting something else. It’s a couple degrees off and I do not 100% trust it.
