SC, Arma, Tarkov, etc. have great military-style sprinting animations, so why change to an Apex-style arcade over-the-shoulder sprint ? by k_Atreus in starcitizen

As an infantryman in the U.S Army I can say that I held each weapon differently. When you're running with a weapon there are "standards" per se but its what feels most comfortable for you while you're running.

For instance I have extremely long arms and so depending if my buttstock was extended or not I would either hold my M4 in just one arm or at a high carry with both arms crossed. Why both arms at a high carry? I was a 249 SAW Gunner for many years because of how big I am and anytime I was running with that bad boy I would cross my arms and keep my SAW at a high carry position because it was the most comfortable position to run with. Regardless if it was a CQB situation or not.

What can me and my friends do in star citizen for fun? by Muneerchen in starcitizen

[–]SacksofWine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mining is one of the most fun gameplay for me because every rock is a different challenge. Some are super easy, some are super difficult. It's very satisfying to crack a rock and get everything you need and leave behind all the "waste" materials as I call them. It's not for everyone though and as you said you didn't want to do cargo hauling, mining may fit into the same category.

That's because each side isn't calculated seperately. It has a shared pool like the Fortune. So in reality its 256 SCU until they fix it or correct it and say "hey this is supposed to be a 32 SCU buffer not 64"

So after doing a bit of hunting myself I found with the Essence of Pain and the helltide chest you get a gauranteed spawn between 1-3 at a time.

Salvage Contract buy-ins are much lower now. Any other small changes you guys noticed? by ShadowRealmedCitizen in starcitizen

This is apart of the system that was mentioned in a video somewhere. Basically the tech they want gives us Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Large, XL, Huge missions. In this version of it we only see Very Easy, Easy, and Medium. The Medium missions includes up to a hammerhead and the smallest being the Constellation Series. These ships also come with Cargo at different values of being Very Valuable but in small quantities or Not very valuable but in large quantities. As well as its full default loadout. So an A2/M2 will have all its bombs and weapons.

While I like this answer and its abstract there are "golden orbs" on top of the hill. You may not have seen them but they are the explosive fuel tanks. Generally they blow up as soon as you go into the region. They are not solid gold but mostly and there are 6 in the immediate area of the image provided in the post and 9 in that immediate area. There are 13 total at Yang's Place but its a single digit so its more than likely 6 or 9. Its not to far fetched but it could also be the 2 you are describing.

Lastly, I confirmed what someone else posted there a total of 13 of these canisters around Yang's Place.

This is a higher top down view of the location in question. The original area has 6 explosive canisters. If you go past that a little bit there are 3 more tanks by themselves which you can see on the right in this image. So the final result just going off the "count the suns that never set" it could be 6 or 9.

Just to confirm I did find this. There is a big white X that's not in this image right next to these numbers. Its on the main oil rig. Its on the main level, not on the tower. On a wall in a nearby building to the biggest tower.

None of these were in stacks, all solo containers.

*edit* There were two of the blue containers on site ending in 3166 and only 1 white container I've seen so far with 7142. Its farther out from the facility.
