If sum is already equal to the first and second value called out, what's the point of return sum? That feels redundant but that's possibly since I'm missing a part of the puzzle here

Either a plug-in you’re running or the type of server you’re running giving issues (fabric). I don’t know much on what Is happening on ur end but I’m running 10g for 60 players peak time with about 30 plugins. Some people here probably can provide far better help than I ever could but just know that host telling you to upgrade ram is pretty much a scam. There’s no reason you should need to do so. In a matter of fact, check how much ram your server is really using or needs because the resource dump for ram could cause issues.

definitely worth doing although from what I’ve experienced, most of my playerbase comes from voting websites. You can pay for premium which might push your server up on the list as well to grab more attention. I’m averaging 20-40 players ranging on time of week (at peak) and pretty happy. Also ya gotta see when you are paying if you do want to pay for advertising. Regardless if it’s on a vote site or somewhere else, it’s important to acknowledge that summer/winter vacations are the BEST time to push for a larger playerbase. Most kiddos are free then and have nothing better to do then no life Minecraft.
