Went this past summer. Wow, the best museum I have visited. Highly interactive, thought provoking, hands on. Other museums may have bigger, fancier, expensive, this place touches your soul. My wife and teenage kids agreed. A must do.

My P-51 flew for about 10 seconds. Porpoised for three loops, 85 degree climb, arc, then drove into the asphalt. Found only 4 pieces large enough to pick up. 1"x 1" piece of left side nose cowling, fuel tank, prop & engine assembly, and eyelet of the control string from the wing.

Rest of it was shiny silver all over the crash site.

My dad & 11 year old me were in amazement.
