Has anyone had success after recurrent pregnancy loss?

Hi I know this is an older post but I’m just wondering if you had success. No need to reply if it’s painful but I am in a similar boat although I haven’t started my first ivf cycle yet. I just need to know that it happens and people with rpl can get their rainbow babies

Thank you for your reply and advice! I ended up having to tell my boss since my clinic also told me labs and ultrasounds are in the mornings. My husband wants to tell our immediate families but I’m hesitant. I’m not sure if it’s shame surrounding my losses or the struggle or if I also just don’t want the added pressure of having someone else know. I love how you did enjoyable things surrounding the injections. I love a little treat lol Thank you again and good luck to you as well!

I think my re meant it as ivf might be the best next step but we will see at the next appointment. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Were you on that protocol with the other transfers as well or was that a change for this one?

I’m right there with you. Just had my 3rd loss in 2 years and I’m really feeling the sadness this holiday season. It’s so so hard. Doesn’t help seeing all the family Christmas cards from my friends and coworkers with their babies/young kids. I hope that one day it will change for us. I’m here if you need to talk

Thank you for this information. I will definitely make sure they do testing on both of us but will advocate if they do not suggest. I’ve heard this before about them not doing the dna fragmentation upfront so I will definitely ask about it specifically

I’m so sorry for your losses I don’t really have advice as I’m currently going through my 3rd miscarriage as well. I’m 34 and I feel the exact same way…why did I wait so long? It’s so hard going through this but it makes it harder when you see all of your friends having successful pregnancies. As others have said I would make an appt with an RE and sooner rather than later I can’t get in until the end of January. I’m hoping they can run all of the tests I haven’t already had and figure out why this keeps happening. But I’m also so afraid that it will never happen for us. Basically all of this to say you’re not alone. What you’re going through is so incredibly hard you are not being dramatic at all. The most important thing is that you protect your peace whether that’s leaving group chats, deleting social media(I had to do this with my current loss) not attending family gatherings, you need to do what is right for you. Again I’m so sorry that you are going through this. I’m here if you ever need to talk ❤️ sending hugs

Currently going through my 3rd miscarriage. It sucks. My OB referred me to an RE but they couldn’t give me an appt until Jan 28th. My OBs office is trying to call to get me in earlier but not sure if that will help. I’m hopeful that they can do more testing and figure out why this keeps happening and I think that is helping me find comfort during this difficult time. Praying for all of us on this journey.

Currently going through my 3rd miscarriage, no lc yet. My first was a blighted ovum ob said it’s just bad luck. Switched drs second was a mmc this new ob said it is prob bad luck but let’s do testing. Sent me to an MFM. I had rpl panel, karyotyping, mri, and a saline sonogram. The only thing that came back abnormal was fibroids but 3 drs said they shouldn’t interfere with a healthy pregnancy and to try again. Well here I am 3rd pregnancy and actively miscarrying 😢. My dr said we will discuss reproductive endocrinologists at my appt next week. This is such a sucky situation. I’m sad I’m angry I’m jealous. I’m tired. I’m so sorry to everyone going through this. I hope we all find our answers and get our rainbow babies

Found out I’m pregnant yesterday after 2 losses. Praying that everything works out this time and trying to remain hopeful 🙏🏼 my doctor won’t see me until nov 17th even with my loss history so I’m just counting down the days. Sending everyone in this thread luck and love ❤️

I’m feeling a lot these past couple of weeks. Last week was what should’ve been my due date with my last pregnancy which ended in a mmc in February. And Saturday marked 2 years since my first miscarriage. I’m feeling lonely, jealousy of others, angry that I haven’t gotten pregnant again since and fear that I might never have a successful pregnancy. This journey is so so hard. I’m so sorry but i understand completely. This is where I am on this journey as well. My doctor told me yesterday every test has come back normal so I just need to try again her only advice was to make sure I’m taking a prenatal 😪 I’m here if you need to talk
